Spencer discusses the idea of children with Toby.
“Tobes, you awake?” Spencer whispered.
“Yeah, what's wrong?” Toby whispered back and then Spencer lifted her head up from his chest and looked up at him. “Nothing's wrong, I've just been thinking.” She said and he looked at her curiously. “Thinking about what babe?” He asked as he played with her hair. “The future, our future.” Spencer said hesitantly and Toby looked at her curiously.
“I hope you're not saying what I think you're saying.” He said worriedly and Spencer shook her head and laughed a little. “God no I would never leave you! Besides this ring is way too gorgeous to give back.” She said as she played with the engagement ring on her finger and Toby breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at her. “Thank God, I don't know what I would do without you.” He said before kissing her cheek. “Well you're stuck with me Tobias so don't worry about it.” Spencer said smiling at him. “Anyway what I'm trying to say is, where do you see us in a couple years?” She asked curiously. “Well by next year I'll finally be finished with our house and we can finally move out of this barn,” He said before kissing her neck and making her laugh. “And hopefully maybe we'll have a kid or two.” He said giving her a small smile and she smiled back at him. “Really?” She asked happily and he nodded. “Wait, that's what you wanted to talk about isn't it, starting a family?” He asked and she nodded. “I just wanted to make sure it was still something that you wanted.” She said. “Of course I still want to have kids with you Spence, there's no one else in the world that I would rather have a family with.” He said and she smiled. “There's absolutely no one else I would want to have a family with either, you're it for me Tobes.” She said smiling at him and he smiled back before passionately kissing her.
“So?” Spencer asked smiling after they broke apart for air. “So?” Toby asked smirking. “I know we've talked about it before, but how many kids do you picture us having?” Spencer asked curiously. “Well I've always pictured us having maybe two or three, years apart of course.” He said and she smiled. “I've always pictured us having at least one boy and one girl.” She said.
“Me too, but for some reason I've always pictured us having a girl first.” Toby said. “Yeah I remember you saying that.” Spencer said smiling. “Do you still think our son is going to have a six-pack?” Toby asked smirking and Spencer laughed. “You remember, and yes.” She said before laughing again and so did he. “And do you have any names in mind?” He asked curiously and Spencer nodded.
“I have been waiting for the right moment to tell you this, whenever we have our daughter I would really love to name her after your Mom Tobes.” Spencer said smiling at him. “Spence I… I don't know what to say, thank you babe I really appreciate that.” He said and she smiled.
“Of course, I couldn't think of our daughter having any other name than to honor your Mother.” She said. “Well again thank you.” He said and she nodded.
“So have you considered any boys names?” Spencer asked. “You haven't?” He asked raising his eyebrow. “I have a few bouncing around in my head but I wanted to see if you had any. “Maybe.” He said playfully smirking at her. “Well are you going to tell me at least one?” She asked. “Well let me see about that, if I can get my lovely fiancé to kiss me I'll consider telling you one name.” Toby said smirking at her. “I think your fiancé would be happy to help you with your wish.” Spencer said smiling at him before leaning in to kiss him. “Happy?” She asked and he smiled before kissing her forehead. “Very.” He said.
“Okay do I get to know the name now?” She asked and he laughed. “God I love your persistency.” He said and she smiled.
“Okay I'll tell you, Brantley.” Toby finally said.
“I think that's a perfect name, I've considered Kayden or maybe Joshua but I definitely love Brantley.” Spencer said and Toby smiled. “Well that makes me happy to hear that.” He said. “You know, whenever we do have kids you're going to be an amazing Dad.” Spencer said. “And you're going to be an amazing Mom.” He said before kissing her passionately and she immediately kissed him back and the kissing continued for about five minutes and then after they broke apart for air and Spencer put her head back on his chest. “Okay as much as I would love to continue this we should probably try and get some more sleep.” Toby said and Spencer nodded. “Yeah you're right, you have to work tomorrow.” She said. “Well I could always call in sick and stay here with you.” Toby said. “Believe me I would love that but you should probably just go into work, I'll be fine.” Spencer said. “I know, I just hate being away from you, no matter how long it is.” Toby said. “Believe me I feel the same way.” Spencer said. “But you still should probably go to work tomorrow, well today now.” Spencer said laughing and so did Toby. “You know I'd rather be with you than working.” Toby said. “I know.” Spencer said. “So what do you stay I call in sick just for tomorrow and we can just stay here.” Toby said.
“I think that would be perfect.” Spencer said. “You know I feel kind of bad I woke you up.” She said and he kissed the top of her head. “Never be sorry for anything Spence, and it's fine, I'm just glad we're on the same page about the future.” Toby said. “Me too, I love you Tobes.” Spencer said smiling at him. “I love you too baby girl.” Toby replied before passionately kissing her and then soon after that Spencer managed to fall back to sleep and Toby just stayed awake as he rubbed her back gently and watched over the love of his life, who one day soon he would get married to and then a little down the line hopefully they'll have some Spoby babies running around.
