Prompt: Prompt: Spencer and Toby have been fighting for weeks, struggling with the inevitable obstacles of their current long-distance relationship. When he gets shot on duty, will it already be too late for their relationship to be saved? Set after 6x10.

Spencer was sitting on her bed in her dorm room at Georgetown University in DC. She was busy studying for her mid-term exams, but as she was trying so hard to concentrate she couldn't help but let her mind drift off to thoughts of Toby and their relationship, what was left of it anyway. Things have been hard lately and their relationship has been quite shaky for the past couple of weeks now, they've been fighting a lot and sometimes it's over the most trivial things, and their phone calls lately always seem to end in arguments, but they're both still trying to save their relationship because obviously they still love each other so much, there's no doubt about that, but their individual lives in two separate states is definitely creating a barrier between them and as much as Spencer hates to admit it, the long distance is slowly ruining their relationship.
"I miss him. I miss us. I want us to get back to where we were before, but is that even possible anymore?"
"Okay Spencer, you need to stop obsessing over this and get back to studying." Spencer said to herself as she snapped herself out of her thoughts and went back to studying, however about an hour later she was interrupted again, but this time it was because there was someone knocking at the door. "Now who could that be?" Spencer whispered softly to herself as she reluctantly got off the bed and walked to the door and she was completely surprised at who stood there.
"Toby?" Spencer whispered in shock as she stared at him, how was he here right now?
"Hey Spence. God it's so good to see you." Toby said as he smiled widely at her, but Spencer was in total shock, she honestly didn't know how to react, what was she supposed to say or do? Of course she was happy and relieved to see him after all of this time, but she's also not sure if this visit is good for them since they've been at odds for awhile. Unfortunately, Toby totally misread her bland expression as her not wanting to see him at all, his smile faltered a little. "Spence? Is everything okay? I thought you'd be excited to see me." He said and she felt guilty about her reaction, wishing that she could have jumped up into his arms and embraced him, but right now that just didn't seem right under the circumstances of their relationship status at the moment. "I- uh, it's just that I'm surprised to see you. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be back in Rosewood right now?" Spencer said. "I took a few days off to spend some time with my amazing girlfriend, is there anything wrong with that?" Toby said and Spencer shook her head. "No, I'm just surprised that Tanner even allowed you to have time off." She said.
"Well she wasn't too thrilled about the idea, but I was able to convince her to let me have some days off after much hesitance." Toby said and Spencer nodded. "You are happy I'm here, right?" Toby asked her, still thinking that there was something wrong. Of course she was happy to see him, but during her study week?
She still didn't really know what to say, she managed to force a smile onto her face, which wasn't really that hard looking at him. "Of course I'm happy that you're here, like I said before I'm just surprised to see you, come here." Spencer said before pulling him into a hug and Toby smiled softly to himself as he held her in the embrace, he had missed holding her in his arms so much, Spencer on the other hand was holding back tears, of course she had missed being in his arms, but she was still worried about this visit, would they be able to get their relationship back to the way that it was, or would… no, she did not want to think about the alternative right now. Right now she decided to just focus on staying in the moment of how great it felt to be back in his arms again.
