This is a One Shot that is dedicated to Our Spoby King, Keegan! It's based on Spoby's future and I included certain things mentioned by Keegs of where he imagines Spoby is now. Enjoy!
‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵It has been four years since A.D. was unmasked and defeated, and since then life has been pretty wonderful for Spencer and Toby.
They have been married for two and a half years, they eloped in a very small ceremony, the only other people who were there besides them and the person who officiated, were Melissa, who was Spencer's Maid of Honor, and Emily, who was of course Toby's "Best Person". They eventually plan to have a nice party celebrating with the rest of their friends.
They also moved far away from Rosewood and they're living in a cabin that Toby built for them by a lake and they have an adorable Labrador Retriever named Rocky. Toby is back to being a Carpenter and Spencer is an interior designer and they own a business together, he builds the houses and she designs the insides.
The biggest milestone for the happy couple though is that after a lot of trying, Spencer is finally pregnant with their first child, a Daughter, and of course they've already agreed on naming her Marion, after Toby's mother.
Spencer is currently five months pregnant and Toby has been pretty amazing taking care of Spencer, getting her whatever she's craving, massaging her when she needs it, making sure that she doesn't stress herself out too much with work, and making sure that she doesn't go overboard with drinking her decaffeinated coffee, which is a little bit of a challenge considering how much Spencer misses her regular overly strong coffee, but she manages it pretty well, it helps a lot that she has Toby there for her and she adores how protective he is of her and their unborn Daughter.
‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵‿︵It was a nice Monday morning, Toby and Spencer were having breakfast together before Toby had to leave for work.
"Have I mentioned how grateful I am that we're finally here, at this point in our lives?" Spencer asked Toby as she ate another piece of pancake. "Not since last night." Toby joked and Spencer playfully rolled her eyes. "Well I am, I mean after everything we've had to go through, we finally made it here and we're happy and safe, together." She said, smiling softly at him.
"I know, and I'm grateful too, I mean you are the most important person in the world to me, I couldn't be happier that you're my wife and that you're carrying our daughter, and I love working with you." Toby said as he smiled back at her. "I love working with you, too." Spencer said and Toby smiled at her, he then picked up the newspaper off the table and began to read it, and his eyes widened a little when he saw a certain headline; "Man fatally shot in Rosewood, Pennsylvania."
"Tobes, what is it?" Spencer asked him curiously and he showed her the article and her eyes widened a little as well. "Oh my God." She said softly. "Well, I'm glad we don't live there anymore." Toby said and Spencer nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I mean I don't know how the girls were able to stay there, except for Ali but even she went back after her stay in Beacon Heights. But still, other than visiting the girls, nothing could get me to go back there." She said before picking up her mug and taking a sip of her decaffeinated coffee. "I know, and I'm one hundred percent with you on that. We don't need to be caught up in anymore drama from that town, and we won't be." Toby said. "Amen to that." Spencer said and Toby couldn't help but smile at his wife. "What?" Spencer asked because she saw that he was staring at her. "Nothing, I'm just admiring my beautiful wife." Toby said and Spencer couldn't help but blush a little. "Well thank you. Do you really need to go into work today? I mean, we are our own bosses. You could stay here and we could just cuddle on the couch and watch a movie or something." Spencer said. "Spence, as tempting as that is, you know that I have to go and check on the progress of some of the houses, and don't even think about trying to persuade me with your puppy dog eyes." Toby said and Spencer sighed softly in defeat. "Okay, I won't, this time anyway." She said and Toby playfully rolled his eyes. "But hey, I promise you that when I get home later, we can do whatever you want. Okay?" He said and Spencer nodded. "Okay, I'm going to hold you to that, Mr. Cavanaugh." She said smiling softly at him. "Well good because I wouldn't want it any other way, Mrs. Cavanaugh." Toby said as he smiled back at her. "God, I'll never get tired of how great that sounds." Spencer said and they both laughed softly. "Well good, because I'll never get tired of saying it. You going to be okay?" Toby said and Spencer nodded. "Yes, of course I will, we'll be fine." She said as she smiled softly at him. "You sure?" Toby said. "I'll just work on finishing up the design for the living room of that house you just started building." Spencer said. "Wow, already?" Toby said. "It'll give me something to focus on while you're gone, so yes." Spencer said and Toby nodded. "Okay, if you're sure." He said before gently kissing her forehead and she smiled softly at him and they continued talking and finished up their breakfast, they kept talking to each other until Toby had to leave for work.
