Zara Costanza
I felt so anxious that the plane ride from New Zealand to Atlanta felt even longer than it already was.
Tom was meeting me at the airport and we were finally seeing each other for the first time in a month and a half.
The plane now landed and I was sitting amongst other passengers, anxiously waiting to get off of the plane.
After a few minutes, the plane had come to a full stop and passengers were told that they were safe to collect any belongings. I got up quickly from my seat, like everyone else, and pulled out one of my bags from the compartment. I put my backpack over my shoulders and put on my sunglasses and a baseball cap (as a safety precaution that I was supposed to follow, enforced by the airport security) and then waited for a few minutes.
People finally began to shuffle out of the plane.
I thanked the staff and tried to make my way as quickly as possible out of the connecting tube.
I scanned the gateway twice and then checked my phone, to let Tom know that I was on my way to customs. I also had to go through baggage claim, so I quickly tried to make my way through the airport.
While constantly checking my phone and replying to Tom, I was able to skip the line through customs due to my speediness, and practically ran to baggage claim. After collecting my suitcase, I looked for the entrance and exit near the gate.

Nevermind, i see you-----
A set of arms were wrapped around me from behind. I squealed and turned around, hugging Tom really tight. My eyes instinctively began to well up. He lifted me off of the ground and snuggled his face into my neck.
"Finally! I've never felt so happy to see you, Zar," said Tom, holding onto me tightly.
"I know, me too! I've waited for this day for so long!" I squealed, purely out of excitement and happiness. I hugged him so tight, and never wanted to let go.
He gently put me down and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
Typically, we weren't a PDA couple at all, but we both were so excited.
Our noses were basically touching and then our lips came crashing down onto one another. During this moment, neither of us cared if there were people staring or if they knew who we were. What mattered was us.
We continued to kiss and after a few moments, we pulled away, but our noses were still touching.
Someone had whistled and we both began to laugh and blush at the same time.
"Yikes, public attention-can we please get out of here?" I asked in a nervous tone.
Tom intertwined his fingers with mine, "Definitely. Let's get your luggage and go to my flat. But can I please, please, tell you one little thing about-"
"If it's about Avengers, don't even try, Tom," I said, in his ear so that only he could hear.
He pouted and gave me his best puppy dog eyes, "But it's not about the movie! It's about this scene that I did and I promise it won't spoil anything, I literally just want to say this one sentence," he said, pleadingly.
