Tom Holland

"Scene 14? Which one is that?" I stared at my phone and opened up my bedside cabinet to check the script.

On the middle of the page, I read the words:

Zoey Fields and Peter Parker [kiss].

"No fucking way," I said in disbelief.

"What now?" Harrison asked, walking over to see the script.

I showed him the scene.

"No fucking way," he said, gritting his teeth.

I began to pace around my room and put my hands on my head. "I expected this, but not now... this is going to be so weird, Harrison. What do I do?" I'm worried and nervous. This is Zara. I'm supposed to kiss her, but it's all staged. It's not how I intended it to be... also, it doesn't help that I'm convinced that she hates me.

"Well, you ought to follow the script, mate..."

Addison, I thought to myself. I still have to tell her how I really feel. She's still avoiding me because of our kiss in the park.

"Shit, and I still have to tell Addison how I feel..." I mumbled, realizing how awful this next week was going to be.

Yes, I do want to kiss Zara again. But not like this. Ever since our breakup, I envisioned that if I got to kiss her again, it would be because we realized that we still love each other or something like that... I didn't think it would be because of Spider-Man.

I mean, I should've taken into consideration that our characters would kiss at some point, but in all fairness, I actually completely forgot about that. I thought that just maybe by the time I'd get to kiss Zara on screen, we would either be friends or possibly even more.

However, if anything we're the opposite of that. We've got this awkward tension between us, and she's convinced that I'm in love with Addison.

"You still haven't talked to Addison
since the snog? What are you? A prick now?" Harrison stared at me in disbelief.

I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"I thought that you did that a week ago when we talked about it!"

"I-I meant to, but then we got so caught up in filming that I haven't got the chance to..."

Harrison rolled his eyes, "Oh yeah, because you're so busy right now that you're talking to your best mate in your room, when you could be out with your fake girlfriend telling her how you really feel. Come on, we both know that she flew into Atlanta last night."

I groaned, "But it looks like it's about to rain. How am I supposed to talk to her now? I can't just take her to the park while it's pouring," the excuse that I made was remarkable; clearly, I don't want to have this conversation with Addison.

"Have you ever heard of a coffee shop? Or maybe a restaurant? Or maybe you're just an actual prick and div at the same time."

I furrowed my eyebrows at Harrison, "Since when did you get so passive aggressive?"

"I spent a long time on the phone with this lousy American cellular company while you were out. I have a right to be pissed. So are you going to call Addison now, or are you going to wait until we face her and her management team in a week and then leave and make yourself seem even more like a dick?"

I raised my hands up to surrender, "Fine, fine... I'll call her now if you leave!"

"I think that that makes you less of a dick," said Harrison, standing up and walking out of my room. He shut the door on his way out as well.
