Zara Costanza

Holland 🕷❤️would like to FaceTime...

"Hey," I said nervously.

A few days after Laura and Zendaya came to visit me, I did a lot of thinking. And I thought maybe it was best to just talk to Tom.

"Hey," he replied. "What's up? Wait, why do you have that nervous look on your face? Is something wrong, Zar? Did someone-"

"No-no, I'm fine, Tom, don't worry. I just wanted to talk to you about something," I noticed that he was on-set because I could see the massive green screens surrounding him. He had his earbuds on and he seemed to be walking somewhere.

"Hold on, I'm just going to my dressing room, it's more private."

I nodded my head. "Okay."

He set his phone on the ground and sat down against the wall.

"I've been doing a lot of thinking," I tried to avoid looking at the camera because I knew that he was watching me and I was scared that looking into his eyes would make me say something else. "The distance on our relationship is really-really hard. And it's difficult because I know that both of us are really busy and trust me, I get it, it's for our careers."

"You're right. It is really hard. And I know our careers are really important. But we both know that we're doing our best to make this work."

I put my elbows on my knees and my hands on my face. "See, that's the thing, Tom. We shouldn't have to-"

"Tom! We need you on-set now! Like right now!" I could hear the loud banging on his dressing room door.

"I'm so sorry, Zara. I really have to go-"

"I know," I said and tried to give him a smile. "You should go."

He sighed and gave me a desperate look. "I promise, we'll talk more about this later."

"Okay. Bye Tom," I said, and then he waved and ended the call.

I curled up into a ball on my couch. "We shouldn't have to force ourselves to make this work," I mumbled to myself. After all of this thinking, I had to tell him. In person.
