Take care of the gang for me, okay doll? Especially Pony and Darry, keep them from being at each other's throats. I love you a ton, and I can't wait to come back home to you.      Are you having fun up at college? Man, I wish I could've gone with you. But you know how I gotta take care of my brothers. Anyway, you better be studying hard. I like being able to brag about how smart my girl is. I love you lots, and the whole gang says hi. In a couple weeks I'll have enough money saved up so that I can drive up to see you. Maybe eventually the entire gang will come up too. Anyways, I love you so much, and I'll talk to you soon.

     I don't know if I'll actually send this to you, but I might. My folks are at it again. The old man doesn't hit her as often as he hits me, but sometimes he does. Sometimes I defend her, or at least try to. But most of the time she just pushes me away, calls me some name and then... So this time I'm not. He doesn't beat her like he beats me, so I don't feel too bad about it. Writing to you helps calm me down, ya dig? I love you so much. I mean, it feels like you're the only person I can breathe around. And you're the only person that doesn't think of me as little kid. I love you for that.
