Chapter 47- crawl space

Betty's POV-
"Guys we need to snoop." Toni said walking back into the living room. "What do you mean snoop?" I ask. "Well Fp has been very happy lately down at the wyrm, well when he is there, anyway. Your mom is like his best friend now, so I figured she must have some explanation for all this." Toni said. "Ouu I like that idea." Cheryl chimed in. "Ok I'm in. My mom has been happy to lately. Maybe it's because there friends again." We headed upstairs. "Hey Veronica you coming?" I asked because she was a little hesitant. "Ya let's go." We went into the guest room first because we figured my mom was still awake. We looked through the closets, under the beds, everything we could think of. You could enter the attic from the guest room, so that's where we went next. We looked through many boxes only to find an old picture album my mom kept in high school. "What are you going to find in there. We already know about my mom's past. What could that tell us about the future?" I asked the girls who were looking through the book. "Ok cousin Betty, do you ever think maybe Fp makes your mom happy. I mean you said they became friends again right?" "Ya?" "So when they were younger they dated maybe now..." " No Cheryl. I don't think she would, I mean that would be weird for me and Jughead." I said shaking my head. "If you and Jughead really love each other this shouldn't affect you guys at all. Except some weird post sex family breakfast, but that's about it." Toni chuckled. "I guess you're right, but Jughead would flip." I said walking back downstairs. "Yes, but he would get used to it. Let's check to see if your mom is asleep. I promise your answer lies within that room." Toni smirked. "Ok let me check first." I slowly opened my moms door to see nobody. "She's gone." I opened the door all the way so everyone could see. "Look!" Cheryl squealed and pointed at the window. "She is one sneaky momma." Toni laughed. "I can't believe Mom snuck out." Polly said looking out the window. "Snuck out where? Or should I say to whom?" Toni laughed again. "How would I know?" Polly laughed. "What about you Veronica. You've been quiet. Where did she go?" Cheryl questioned. "If Polly doesn't know how would I." "Good point." Cheryl backed off and started looking through my mom's drawers. "Your not going to find anything in there. She's smarter than that." I said heading to the closet. "Hey Betty what does your mom sleep in?" Toni asked looking with Cheryl. "Normal pajamas or if it's a special occasion  'cringe face' she would wear little silky night dresses why?" "Um because your Mom must have recently updated her sleepwear, but I love it." Cheryl laughed with Toni. "What do you mean updated?" Polly questioned. "I'm going to get water." Veronica said heading downstairs. "Wait up me to." Polly said following her. "I'm talking about the lingerie sets in her drawer." Cheryl held one up. "I'm going to be sick." I said heading towards my moms bathroom. "Suck it up Cooper we have more to find. Did you finish in the closet?" Toni asked. "No." I said still over the toilet. Cheryl and Toni went into the closet and looked deep behind her clothes and in her clothes. They almost gave up before Cheryl almost fell and threw a shoe she had in her hand up. The shoe never came back down. They both looked up to see a little crawl space. "Can you reach the ladder?" Toni asked. "No, but I can lift you." Cheryl picked Toni up and Toni went into the crawl space. "Find anything?" I asked walking into the closet to joining them. "Oh my....no way!" Toni said laughing hysterically. "What!" Cheryl and I said in unison. "Your moms a freak Betty." Toni said still laughing. "I don't even want to look." I walked back into the bedroom and downstairs with Polly and Veronica. "Let me see!" Cheryl said. Toni climbed Down from the crawl space with a box. "Box of goodies I assume?" Cheryl asked smirking. "You have no idea." Toni laughed. They went over to the bed and sat down. Cheryl opened the box to find a pair of handcuffs, rope, and a blindfold. Toni looked closer at the handcuffs and found (fpjII) Engraved into them. "Forsythe Pendleton Jones II." Toni Said laughing. "What?" Cheryl asked confused. "Fps initials are engraved on these." Toni said laughing harder than ever. Cheryl soon joined. They brought the box downstairs with them to going the girls. "Guys it's getting late maybe we should just go to bed?" I suggest not really wanting to look inside the box. "No way!" Cheryl yelled. "Maybe she's right babe. Let's let Alice have some privacy even though I am so mentioning the cuffs to her in the morning." Toni chuckled. We all settled into bed, well the couches. "Guys do you really think my mom and Fp are together?" I asked. "No betty we were just screwing with you. I promise nothing is going on. They are just happy to be friends again." Toni smiled. "Ok. Goodnight guys." I layed down and went to bed. "Toni why did you lie?" Cheryl whispered to Toni now that everyone was asleep. "Don't put her through this yet. Let Fp and Alice tell the kids about them, but us ourselves can do a little investigating if you want?" Toni smirked. "Sounds fun can't wait." Cheryl whispered smiling back.
Alice's POV
"Alice it's 5:30 AM why are you up?" Fp asked me rubbing his eyes. "Because babe I have to get home before the girls notice I'm gone." I kissed his cheek and started to get out of bed. "No stay with me." Fp whined. "I would love to, but..". "But nothing your staying." Fp said pulling me back with him. I giggled and curled into his side. "Ok I can stay for awhile." "Oh wait your uniform. We have to work at Pop this weekend." Fp said sitting up. "Oh ya. I'll go get it. Meet me at Pops in 20." I sighed and got up. "Love you Mrs. Jones." Fp smiled. "Love you Mr. Jones." I smiled back. I headed home to find the girls still passed out in the couch. The babies started to cry, but I told Polly to go back to bed. I went upstairs and took care of them and then went into my room to change. I went to grab my new pair of underwear that Fp got me, but my drawer was a complete mess. I froze scared of what the girls found looking through my room. I went straight to my closet to find the little crawl space door open. I stuck me head in to see if the box was still there, but of course it wasn't. I quickly put on my uniform and tried to go out the door not seen by the girls, but of course with my luck they woke up. "Hey Mom." Betty said sitting up. "Hi girls. Did you have fun last night?" I asked. "Oh we had plenty of fun, but not the kind you like." Toni smirked at me. "Elizabeth the next time I find you in my room snooping in my personal things. Good luck." I smiled evilly. "And you, Topaz, don't think Fp won't hear about your shenanigans at my house tonight." I said sternly. "I'm sure he will." She smirked. I rolled my eyes at her and looked down to see the box. My eyes went wide and Toni's smirk grew bigger. "That was a gag gift think all you want. I have never used them." I smirked with my head high. "I'm sure it was a gaging gift." Toni laughed. "Toni really her kids are right here." Betty complained. "I'm going to work behave please." I smiled at Betty and Polly.
