That evening as Amarédasse sat in her chambers admiring her new medallion she heard a lot of commotion coming from the other room and decided to investigate. Hidden out of sight and being as quiet as a mouse, Amarédasse overheard Aphrodite give Poseidon and Shea a full report on everything she had seen as she watched both herself and Alexander today, and Poseidon was furious over his daughter's disobedience. "I thought you had that passageway sealed up years ago?" Athea asked her brother. "I did, the seal I placed on it must have worn off," Poseidon said furiously.* "The young man she has met is obviously the reason for her behavior as of late. During the whole time I've watched them they never left each other's side," said Aphrodite. "Aphrodite, what are you saying?" Shea asked thinking the possibility that her youngest daughter had met someone special. "Poseidon, Shea, I believe that Amarédasse has fallen in love with a human," said Aphrodite. "Like father, like daughter," Athea said as Poseidon glared at his sister with an angry look on his face.* "I don't believe that he knows that Amarédasse is both a princess and a goddess, for he kept calling her Amaré and she kept her birthmark hidden with an arm cuff," said Aphrodite. "I seem to recall that he also told her that his name was Alexander." "It doesn't matter Aphrodite, Amarédasse still deliberately disobeyed her mother and I," Poseidon said angrily. "Do you know what could have happened if Moira had gotten her hands on her?"

"Athea, Aphrodite could you please leave us for right now, I need to speak with Poseidon alone," Shea said sensing that her husband was about to lose his temper. "Alright, we will see you both in the morning," Athea said as both she and Aphrodite turned to leave. Once Athea and Aphrodite had left, Shea went up to Poseidon and placed a loving hand on his shoulder. "Poseidon darling, we both knew this day would come sooner or later," Shea said as Poseidon began to calm down. "Oh Shea, I know your right it's time we trusted her with the truth," Poseidon said as he wrapped his arms around his wife. "Why did it have to come so soon?" "Poseidon, even you knew that you couldn't keep the prophecy a secret from your own daughter forever, and even you have to admit that she's not a child anymore," said Shea. "I know, we will tell her tomorrow after we celebrate her birthday, its best if she enjoys herself for right now," said Poseidon. Once Poseidon and Shea had retired for the night, Amarédasse was already back in her chambers wondering what it was that her parents were keeping a secret from her for tomorrow she had a lot of questions to ask them and she would demand the truth for all of them.
