Once Moira had been dealt with and the prophecy had been fulfilled, Amarédasse then knelt down beside Alexander and cradled him in her arms. "Oh Alexander, why did you do that?" Amarédasse asked her beloved with tears in her eyes. "Amarédasse, your life is more precious than mine because, without you I have nothing but an empty hole in my heart," Alexander said hoarsely as both Zeus and Hades watched their niece cry over her beloved prince. "Alexander, please don't die on me, because if you die then my heart will die with you," cried Amarédasse. "You love him that much?" Zeus asked as he walked up towards his crying and heartbroken niece. "Uncle Zeus, I love Alexander more than my own life," Amarédasse declared to her uncle with tears in her eyes. "Stand aside Zeus, I did this once for our brother, and now I am willing to do the same thing for his daughter,*" Hades said as he walked up towards his brother and crying niece. "I didn't stop you then Hades and I won't stop you now for this young man had selflessly gave his life for our niece, and he helped her fulfill her destiny," declared Zeus. "Uncle Hades, I beg you please save him," Amarédasse begged her uncle as she wept over her beloved.

With a wave of his arms, Hades casted the same spell that he had used to save his sister-in-law all those years ago, and at that moment Alexander immediately opened his eyes and caught sight of a crying Amarédasse. "Amarédasse," Alexander said to Amarédasse's great surprise and delight as she helped him get to his feet. "Alexander, please promise me that you never do something like that again. I thought I'd lost you forever," Amarédasse cried as she pulled Alexander into a loving embrace. "Amarédasse, don't worry my love, you are never going to lose me, I promise," Alexander insured Amarédasse as he helped her dry her tears. "Amarédasse, your parents are here and they wish to speak with you both,*" said Zeus. With that, Amarédasse, along with Alexander, followed her uncles back to the ballroom where her mother and father were waiting for them.

Once they had all arrived back at the ballroom, they immediately caught sight of Poseidon and Shea, and Amarédasse then walked up bravely towards her father. "Father, Moira is no more. I have fulfilled the prophecy and the ashes in this pouch are all that remain of Megara's spell book, neither her dark magic nor Moira will harm the lives of anyone ever again," Amarédasse declared as she presented the bag of ashes to her father. "Consider this a blessing, for you and Mother, our family, and our people." At that moment, Poseidon took his youngest daughter into his arms and gave her a loving hug for he was thankful that she had survived and was unhurt. "The greatest blessing that your mother and I have ever received was gaining you for a daughter, we love you very much Amarédasse," said Poseidon. "I love you and Mama too, Papa," Amarédasse said as she hugged her father to the happiness and delight of everyone present.

Afterwards, Poseidon and Shea then turned their attention over to Alexander and his family. "Prince Alexander of Corinth, you willingly and selflessly sacrificed your own life in order to save my daughter and you also helped her fulfill the prophecy and saved my realm, both you and your wife must be very proud of your son Melentius," said Poseidon. "Mighty King of the Seas, you have no idea how proud we are of him," Melentius said as both he and Queen Irenea smiled proudly at their son. "As a reward Alexander, whatever it is you wish for I will willingly grant," Poseidon declared to his daughter's beloved. "Lord Poseidon, I only thing that I wish for is if you would grant me your blessing in making your daughter, Amarédasse, my bride. For I must admit to you that I fell in love with her hopelessly sire the minute I laid eyes on her," Alexander said with his voice filled with love and passion for his patron god's youngest daughter. "I will that is if it is Amarédasse's wish as well,*" Poseidon said as Alexander silently agreed with the Sea God and made his way towards Amarédasse. "Do you love me, Amarédasse? For if you do, will you willingly do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Alexander asked Amarédasse as he held her hands. "Alexander, I do love you and yes I will marry you," said Amarédasse. "Well then, Prince Alexander of Corinth, I hereby give you my blessing to marry my daughter," declared Poseidon. "In three days' time, I shall bless you, Prince Alexander, with immortality and eternal youth as an early wedding gift to my new soon-to-be nephew-in-law," Zeus declared to the delight of the young couple. Immediately, Alexander and Amarédasse sealed their betrothal with a passionate and loving kiss to the delight and excitement of everyone present.

*Once again I am just saying that when it comes to the Mermaid's Curse that is pretty much my favorite part, since it shows that despite his rough and tough outer persona Hades in truth is a real softie and it proves that deep down he really does care about his family despite their tendency to constantly fight with one another.

*In other words, the boyfriend is now going to meet his girlfriend's parents.

*Like any father he wants his daughter to be happy and make her own decisions.
