-Darkness bathed the dorm room in gentle tones, though the rise and fall of two twin bodies was evident nonetheless. At Yukio's desk sat Dan, eyeing the suitcase with a critical gaze. He glanced back to the owner's form, ensuring that he was indeed asleep, and then to that of his partner. He didn't want an audience. His hand slipped through the matter, the limb having become intangible, carefully removing the documents that had been locked within.
Carefully, he tilted them upwards, allowing the dim light of his flashlight to shine upon the first page's surface. His eyes widened, and then narrowed, at what he read.

"Are you okay?" Rin asked, brows knit slightly in confusion. He didn't mind, really, he actually enjoyed it. Dan being clingy had been enjoyable at first, as Rin was normally the one to cling to the other, and to have his friend reciprocate the behavior was quite pleasant, but it was still cause for concern. Dan rolled his eyes, pushing Rin forwards slightly.
"I'm fine, and it shouldn't take too long." Dan responded assuringly.
"I just have to go talk to the Chief for a bit." Dan told, referring to Elkan in the manner Rin had grown accustomed to. A last shove thrusted Rin forwards, causing him to no longer be beyond the viewing of his piers. Within Rin's hands rested a large tupperware container which held the remnants of the tryout cake, which was topped with a whipped icing, strawberry slices, and decorative strawberry syrup.
"Go. I'll see you later." Dan promised, twin rings enveloping his midsection and rushing over his body, changing his attire, completion, eye color, and swapping the shade and tint of his hair. His body once again changed, becoming intangible instantly. He then spun around, his legs vanishing, becoming a misted tail that flicked and trailed behind him. The wall rippled like the surface of disrupted water as Dan plunged through the vertical surface.Rin sighed before turning back and continuing on to class, cake in hand.

"Wow, this is really good, Okumara-kun!" Shiemi said in a delighted tone, covering her mouth as she realized she hadn't yet swallowed her last bite, her cheeks heating up slightly as she grew flustered at the realization. Suddenly, an arm wrapped itself around Rin's throat, a now sober Shura being the one to conduct the action. She pulled Rin slightly towards her, the boy gagging slightly at the force.
"What the hell, none for me?" She asked with mock sadness. Rin ducked from her grasp and moved out of her range, snickering as he did so, before setting up another paper plate and passing it off to her.
"There'll be more when we have the party, this is just a sample." Rin said, passing off the plate to the eager Shura, who immediately began to shovel the confection down her throat, perfectly replicating the dangerously starved.
"Oh my fuc-"
"Language." Yukio reminded, calmly eating away his own slice. She turned to him, sticking her tongue out, and continued.
"This is really good!" She revised, annoyed at the fact that her freedom of speech had been restricted.
"You are definitely making the cake, now." Shima said with a lopsided grin. Himura entered the room quietly, but his efforts at discretion failed as Rin's eyes locked momentarily on his form, his mouth forming a thin line, before returning to his cake. He didn't know when Himura planned on meeting with his cohort, nor where they intended on meeting, only that it would happen this week and that in itself was remarkable.
When he had been eavesdropping, he had noted the conversation to be slightly informal, as though Himura was well acquainted with his cohort on a level deeper than what two mere associates often tended to be, and if that was the case, the chances of seeing his partner speak to Himura during the day were that much greater. All he had to do was watch.
