Giovanna POV

It was done.

The Supreme was dead. Finally.

The newest members to openly join my League: Winston and Leona.

Both of their powers would be essential in the next step in my plan. Step one was complete. Assassination of the Supreme. The second step: Eradication of the humans. And last but certainly not least, step three: Domination of the remaining Unknowns.

The Supreme had all but made it too easy. Her lack of motivation to urge her Court members to take action was key. It gave me the opening I needed now. Unknowns would be more willing to accept me as their leader given that their past leader had done nothing to protect them.

The world needed law and order. Unknowns were not meant to bow down to the humans. We should have never been commanded to keep our abilities a secret. It was millenia too late in making our presence known.

The humans deserved to cower in every ounce of fear they felt.

This war had been a grave mistake on their part. Maybe if they had not tried to kill us all then we would have had mercy. But that is not what happened. The consequence of their action: facing the full force of the Unknowns powers. I had very powerful Unknowns on my side. Leona, Winston and Myra were easily my biggest players. Nobody was stronger than me. The only person who was, was now dead.

Philomene and Augustus did concern me, but not by much. I would attack the weakest links first and then work my way to them. The less support they had, the easier it would be to take them down.

In the back of my mind, I remembered Daisy Lynn. The girl who could control water. The Supreme had favored her greatly, which mean that by this time the girl was likely a force to reckoned with. It bothered me that I could not see her. I could see Philomene and Augustus easily. Even Celeste, who's mind was aggravatingly difficult to capture, was easily seen. But Daisy Lynn was blind to me.

If my memory served me correctly, I knew that there was a tracker that Philomene held a grudge against. He had killed a Court member single handedly. With him protecting Daisy Lynn from my view, I'd never get close to her. That meant that I would have to kill him.

But first, I would have to think of a way to find Hunter, who had the ability to hide himself from every any and every sense and entity known to man.
