okay washing dishes isn't that bad like i don't mind doing the dishes at home so i didn't expect the restaurant to be that bad and it really wasn't

but when i first started i apparently ~wAs tOo sLow~ and that made me really stressed out but i survived and on wednesday will have 230 dollars in my bank account woot woot

Josh looks at the cola bottle gummy in his hand and sighs.

Tyler Joseph is... confusing.

He pops the gummy in his mouth and aggressively chews it.

Everywhere Josh goes— Even now, in the cafeteria, Josh can hear people talking about what horrible awful things that Tyler Joseph has done.

"I heard he, like, robbed a store with a gun, or something-"

"Dude, it was on the news, didn't you see? He was doin' some real freaky shit in a graveyard-"

"Wasn't he the one who hit that dog, and then reversed over it, like, five times-"

No. That's not the Tyler Joseph that Josh knows. Maybe he has the wrong Tyler Joseph?

No that's stupid.

What's even stupider, though, is that the infamous Tyler Joseph that everyone seems to talk about, is a completely different Tyler Joseph than who Josh knows.

"He's never in any of his fucking classes, man. It's strange he hasn't failed yet, or even dropped out completely. Probably forged the sig' or something..."

... Okay maybe not completely different.

Josh groans aloud, getting a few weird stares as he stomps out of the cafeteria.

He knows that looks can be deceiving, but really?

If Tyler Joseph really was some bad criminal, he would be locked up, right?

Josh pauses his steps, eyes widening a tad.

The justice system is totally rigged... What if Josh really just made friends with a kinky felon criminal?

No, he slaps himself, rolling his eyes at his own thoughts.

Tyler Joseph is a totally normal teenager. Totally. No criminal record, no news reports about him, no dead dogs over his head. Normal.

"Boo!"

"Go- ah! Jes- Jeez!" Josh curses.

Tyler Joseph finds this amusing. Josh is fuming,

"That is not normal!" He shouts, sighing heavily as Tyler grins at him.

Tyler ignores that comment, "You had a weird look on your face. Thinking about me again, babe?"

Josh halts, sputtering. "Ba- What?"

The look on Tyler's face says that he expected this reaction and is thoroughly enjoying it.

"What's wrong, babe? Don't like the nickname? Would you prefer I go back to stumpy?" He teases.

Josh clears his throat, trying to look intimidating but his flustered red face really isn't helping,

"No! Just, no babe or stumpy, okay?" He says firmly, starting to walk away.

Tyler's long legs keep up easily, "Right. Got it, darling,"

Josh stops, feeling his face get hotter, he whines miserably, "Stop it, Tyler!" He stomps his foot.

Tyler is amused.

As always.

He hums, "You're a real brat, aren't you? Hm, corrupting you won't be that hard then,"

Josh squints his eyes,

"... What."

Tyler grins, getting all up in Josh's grill, "Nothing," He sings.

Josh flares his red nostrils and Tyler can't help but laugh as the boy stomps away. He sees Brendon at his locker and speeds up.

"Hey, darling Joshua, wait up," Tyler calls from right behind Josh.

Josh stops abruptly and slams into Tyler,

"Wow, okay, you really have a thing for stopping in the middle of the hallway," He groans, holding his stomach that Josh's elbow slammed into. Accidentally, duh.

Josh clenches his teeth, turning so he's facing Tyler. Tyler's breath hits his face and does nothing to calm the blush there.

"No stumpy, no darling, no babe, no nothing. Got it... punk?"

Tyler bites his lip, nodding,

"Got it, sweetheart," He says, tapping Josh's cheek.

He does a spin on his heel and starts walking the other way.

Josh watches him go, stifling a grin.

Tyler Joseph can't be a bad person. There's no way.

And Josh is kind of happy to call Tyler Joseph his friend.

"I don't think sweetheart suits you. Maybe he should just jump right to calling you boyfriend."

Josh jumps as Brendon's unwanted opinion sounds from behind him.

"G- You! What is with people scaring me today?"

Brendon laughs, and Josh finally registers what Brendon said,

"I- Ugh- Shut up!"
