Jess's P.O.V

For a while now, I had been looking forward to going to Lakeside Diner, which was the main talk of the school Visual and Performing Arts center this year. After many good reviews about the food, arcade games, and beautiful lake, I knew that this was the perfect place to have this bonding day. The diner closed down their entire venue from the public, just so that our school can have the entire place to ourselves.

We had a whole diner arcade just for us! That meant party all around for everyone attending. However, it still did not appeal to me as much as it did before, because my squad wasn't here to enjoy it with me...not to mention the amazing bonding time I'm having with the dark clothed, tattooed guy that was sitting next to me, making no conversation whatsoever.

I sighed and grabbed my bag to prepare to get off the bus, which came to a complete stop.

As soon as the bus stopped, the entire Glee Club exploded in cheering, eager to get out and challenge each other in games of all kinds. We all spilled out of the bus like ants, then piled into the arcade like crazy people, or walked over to the lake to take a few group pictures.

I looked around and was surprised at the sunset over the large lake that was next to this arcade. It had a doc that stretched out into the lake, and a few ducks swimming around in it.

"Wow," I gasped, admiring the beautiful view.

"Pretty, isn't it?" Louis asked me as he took in the air. "You know, the guys and I used to come here a lot before high school started...except for Liam. We brought him here when we started becoming friends."

Why is he always bringing up Liam?

I nodded and began to follow him inside the arcade.

The place was filled with games of all kinds, and it was all for us! Students began piling around the air hockey tables and basketball machines, while the rest of us either enjoyed the outside views, or played other popular arcade games.

I scanned the room for a game that I found appealing, so that I can kick off the night with something slightly decent. After looking around for quite a while, something really caught my eye.

It wasn't an arcade game, but it was definately a well-known game that I used to play with my younger brother. The gleam of the X-Box Kinnect shined through the arcade, and displayed Dance Central 4 on the large flatscreen television.

"See anything you guys wanna play?" Niall asked all of us, scanning the place for himself.

"THAT ONE!" I shouted, pointing towards the X-Box and practically dragging the guys towards it. "Oh my goodness, I love this game!"

"Wow, so do we!" Zayn chuckled. "I'm surprised it's still up! We owned everyone in this game."

"Especially Liam," Louis whispered to me.

Again with the Liam.

"Well, go on! Don't be a wuss. Try it, Jessie," Louis pushed at me, placing me in front of the sensor.

The sensor picked up my presence and allowed me to move about within the range of the camera. I began to select a song, carefully looking for the song I always dance to at home with my brother. When I saw it, I selected it, and the guys began to chuckle challengingly.

Look at Me Now - Chris Brown

"Daaamn, I know whose song that is!" Harry hooted, nudging Liam in the process.

What?

Liam uncomfortably shifted in his spot as the boys began to nudge him.

I pretended not to care, and selected it on Hard mode, trying my best not to make eye contact with the tattooed boy.
