"Oh, what's that stench?" Bofur spoke as they entered a cave.
"It's a troll hoard. Be careful what you touch." Gandalf spoke.
Gandalf, Thorin, Dwalin, Bofur, Gloin and Nori descended into the cave. They reappeared shortly after.
"Bilbo." Gandalf spoke as her emerged. "Here this is about your size."
"I can't take this." Bilbo responded.
"The blade is of Elvish make, which means it will glow blue when orcs or goblins are nearby." Gandalf interjected.
"I have never used a sword in my life." Bilbo rebutted.
"And I hope you never have to. But if you do, remember this: true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one. " Gandalf said before moving towards Lillianna who was sat on the rock watching the dwarves prepare themselves.
"Gandalf" She smiled as he came to stop in front of her.
"Here. This is an elvish dagger but I believe it is more of a sword for you. I heard Fili and Kili gave you a lesson so I presume you know how to use it." He smirked.
"Thank you, Gandalf" She smiled as she took it and attached it to her belt.
"Something is coming!" Thorin yelled.
"Stay together. Hurry, now. Arm yourselves. " Gandalf ordered.
We all started running.
"Thieves! Fire! Murder!" The stranger spoke as he burst through the bushes.
Lillianna stared at the man. She noticed the bird poo down the side of his face wondering if the smell made the guy uncomfortable.
"Radagast. It's Radagast the brown!" Gandalf sighed. He lowered his weapon so the rest of us followed. "What on earth are you doing here?" He asked.
"I was looking for you. Gandalf. Something's wrong. Something's terribly wrong." He muttered like a crazy person.
"Yes?" Gandalf asked.
"Just give me a minute. Um... Oh! I had a thought and now I've lost it. It was... it was right on the tip of my tongue. Oh! It's not a thought at all. It's a silly old stick insect." He said poking out his tongue to reveal a stick insect in which Gandalf removed.
Gandalf led the new wizard further away from the company and out of earshot yet still in sight. I stood myself next to Bilbo scanning the area. From the depths of the forest echoed a deep howl.
"Was that a wolf? Are there...are there wolves out there?" Bilbo spoke from my side.
"Wolves? No, that is not a wolf." Bofur said.
A wolf like creature came prowling out of the woods. Thorin jumped forward killing it. Another appeared heading towards Thorin's back. Kili jumped forward and shot an arrow at. It slid down the slop then started snapping it's jaw as Dwalin landed the final blow.
"Warg scouts!" Thorin spoke as he pulled his sword from the carcass. "Which means an orc pack is not far behind."
"Orc pack?" Bilbo and Lillianna said in sink.
"I told you someone wants to finish Azog's mission." Lillianna yelled at Thorin.
"No." Thorin hissed back refusing to believe that he had lead his nephews into the danger of orcs who want to kill them.
"Who did you tell about your quest, beyond your kin?" Gandalf asked Thorin.
"No one." Thorin answered.
