Bilbo pulled Lillianna over to a rock away from Thorin as he notices the 10 dwarves climbing the mountain.

Lillianna sobs into Bilbo's chest as Gandalf comes and sits next to them. Gandalf starts cleaning out his pipe quite nosily, Bilbo looks as if he is about to object but doesn't as he notices another figure walking there way.

"Lillianna." The figure approaching called to her.

She unburied her head from Bilbo's chest as she turned to look at them. Her eyes swollen and bloodshot and deep red. Her skin deathly pale. Hands layered in cuts and bruises.

"Ada." She muttered yet Legolas picked up on it with his elf hearing.

"What's wrong?" He said as he knelt before her.

"He's gone." She sobbed as she leaped forward and clutch her dad's blood soaked clothes.

Legolas wrapped his arms around her as his daughter sobbed into his chest. Turning himself to sit on the rock he noticed the body of the King under the mountain surrounded by his company. Balin looked from his spot beside Thorin making eye contact with elf. Legolas bowed his head in respect of their lost king. His hand started to rub comforting circles on the top of Lillianna's back as her sniffling continued.

Balin removed himself from beside Thorin after paying his respects and turned towards the 4 figures sat silently on a rock watching them. He started his walk up to the four figures. The other dwarves followed behind him.

"Lillianna." Balin spoke once him and the dwarves were stopped in front of the 4.

Lillianna turned herself round on he dad's lap as she muttered, "Balin..."

"This belongs to the little one." He said holding out a ring.

"What is it?" She asked as she leaned forwards to grab.

"It's a signet ring. It is passed down. The wearer is the true heir of the king under the mountain." Balin spoke.

"I can't take this Balin." She said trying to hand the ring back. "It belongs to Dain."

"Dain isn't the closest blood relative of Thorin. The little babe you carry is." He spoke.

Lillianna nodded and placed the safely in her pocket before she found a better place for it.

"Lillianna." Dwalin coughed to grab her attention.

Lillianna turned to the dwarves to see each lowering to one knee and pledging their allegiance.

"Until the king under the mountain returns. If you need us we will come." Dwalin rumbled.

"Thank you." Lillianna smiled before jumping forward to give each member of the company a hug.

The next day held the funeral of everyone who gave their life during what would be remembered at the battle of the five armies.

Lillianna shed no tears as her eyes were too dry from the day before. Tales were told and songs were sung. The dwarves even requested one of Lillianna's harp songs, in which she caved eventually.

Bilbo nodded across the hall at Lillianna signalling it was time for them to slip out. Lillianna slipped back to her room and grabbed her backpack and weapons. She met up with Bilbo as they headed towards the front gate.
