"And that is the story of mine and Bilbo's adventures..." Lillianna trailed off as she ruffled the hair of her children.
"So we're royalty, Mama?" Oakley asked.
"Yes. The 3rd and 4th in line for the crown of the Woodland Realm and the heirs of the Dwarf Throne in Erebor." Lillianna answered.
"Wicked. Wait until I tell Frodo." Thrail cheered.
"It is best to remain quiet about it Thrail. Hobbits don't like different." Lillianna spoke.
"What about the ring Mama?" Oakley asked.
Lillianna reached down to her throat pulling a chain and lifting it over her head. There at the bottom of the chain lay the signet of the Durin Line.
"Thrail. I believe this is yours." She smiled.
Thrail stepped forward as Lillianna reached to place the chain over his neck.
"Never lose this. As long as you have it. Your father will guide you." She smiled.
"What about me, Mama?" Oakley asked envious that her brother had got her father's signet.
"You Oakley are going to have to take very good care of this for me." Lillianna said as she walked towards her mother's glory box where Bilbo and her had hid all remains of their quest to Erebor. She pulled out a small bead. "Your father used this to tie my hair the first time he braided it."
"Will you teach me to braid my hair like Papa?" She asked.
"Of course. How about I braid it now and when you're older I'll show you?" Lillianna spoke.
Oakley pulled her mother into the living room and pushed her into an arm chair. Perching herself on her mother's lap. Thrail sat in front of them as he stared at the ring twiddling it in wonder.
As Lillianna placed the bead in Oakley's hair a knock sounded from the door.
"I'll get it Bilbo." She called to Bilbo who was probably locked away in his study.
With her children following her, Lillianna led the way to the front door. Pulling it open she was met with familiar faces.
"Balin! Gandalf!" She cheered. "Come in!" She ushered them into Bag End.
"These must be the babes." Balin smiled at the two heads peeking round their mother's waist.
Stepping out from behind their mother they said. "Thrail and Oakley at your service." With a large grin across their face.
Bilbo stepped into the room and started laughing and so did the other three adults at the familiar behaviour of the two.
Gandalf chuckled, "There is no doubt that they are from the Line Of Durin."

Hey guys,
This is it for Line of Durin, I'm afraid. Hopefully I'll be publishing the sequel soon which will follow Thrail and Oakley throughout the Lords Of The Rings Series. I already have great plans for these two. I hope you enjoyed this book though because I know I did writing it. Keep this story in your library because when the sequel is posted I'll add another chapter to this called Sequel revealing the name of the sequel so you know I've published it. This will probably be some point in January so till then I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
