Emma woke up comfortably. She hadn't really remembered yet why they were so close, but she didn't mind. Since it was Monday morning, they had to get ready for school. Killian hadn't woken up yet.

"Killy..." Emma whispered, trying to wake him up. She didn't even pay attention to what she was saying. Emma didn't really want to get up, but she knew they had to.

"Killy..." she whispered again and looked up at him. He slowly woke up and looked at her.

"Killy?" He asked tiredly, raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah... It's short for Killian," Emma answered, blushing slightly. "Anyways, it's time to get up. You have to get ready for school, and I have to go home."

"Okay, Swan," he said, starting to sit up. "I really did have fun yesterday."

"I did too," Emma smiled and got up. "Thanks for letting me stay over. See you later."

Emma walked to school and went to the library. She was learning fast and was already in junior math. Even with Killian with her tutor, she still hated math. Especially as it got more difficult. They predicted she'd be caught up by the end of the year, and taking the exams with the rest of her classmates.

"Hey Swan, ready for today's lesson?" Killian asked, sitting down at a table with her. He opened the lesson book while she got out her notebook and a pencil.

"I guess if I have to be," she shrugged. "You know I hate math anyways."

"Yeah, I know," he nodded. "Although you're almost halfway through the curriculum for junior year. In a few months you could be all caught up by the end of the year."

"I'm already way past this is English and History. I'm even past in Spanish. I just suck at math."

"It's alright, Emma. You're getting there, I promise. You are actually doing really well, so don't be too hard on yourself," he told her.

She nodded. "Fine," she said quietly. "Solo digo que soy peor en matemáticas que en mis otras clases. ¿Ver? En realidad soy bastante bueno en español," She said quietly, in Spanish.

Translation: I'm just saying, I'm worse at math than my other classes. See? I'm actually pretty good at Spanish. (I used Google translate 😂)

"Okay, okay. I do see that. You're just really advanced in Spanish, obviously," he smiled. "Let's just get this lesson done. I promise it's easier than usual."

After they finished the lesson they still had a few minutes in the period left.

"So, want to tell me about your dream last night?" Killian asked, trying to make it seem casual.

"I already told you, no. It was just a nightmare. It's fine," Emma said.

Killian raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" He asked again. He wanted to know what was bothering her so badly.

Emma sighed, knowing he wouldn't give up. "How about I tell you later?" She suggested.

"Okay, whenever you'd like, Swan," he told her. He didn't want to seem like he needed to know, even though he did.

"I promise I'll tell you after school," she told him. "It's just kind of private I guess," she added.

"I understand. No worries, I don't want to force you to tell me."

"Well, today kind of sucked to be honest," Emma told Killian when they went through their normal lunch conversation.

"Why?"

"Everything. I guess my unpopularity just caught up with me. I thought I was fine with it, but I guess I'm not," she shrugged. "It was easier the first few days, but I really do wish people would talk to me."
