"Well you were right. She broke up with him," Killian told Liam.

"That's great!" Liam smiled. "See, I told you she would do it soon. So what are you going to do now? Do you think she likes you?"

"I don't know," Killian said. "I think she might, but then again she's so confusing sometimes."

"Sounds like it," Liam agreed. "But if you really do love this lass, you should just go for it. You know, turn on the Jones charm."

Killian rolled his eyes and smiled. "Alright, I will."

The day went really well for both of them. Nothing bad happened and they were friends again.

They walked back to their houses together. "Hey, Mary Margaret and David aren't going to be home until late, is it possible I can go to your house for a little?" Emma asked.

"Of course. You're always welcome at my house," Killian smiled, making Emma smile too.

They got to Killian's house and went in. "So Killian how'd it go with Emma today? Did you lay on the Jones charm?" Liam yelled from the living room.

"Liam!" Killian yelled, embarrassed. Emma laughed slightly. 'How come every single time my family decides to mention Emma she's right next to me?' Killian thought.

"What? Did it not go well then? Don't worry there's always tomorrow brother," Liam said, coming out from the room. "Oh, hi. Who are you?"

"I'm Emma," Emma said.

"Oh... So are you two good now then?" Liam asked. Emma nodded.

"Emma this is Liam," Killian said. "He's my older brother."

"Nice to meet you," Emma smiled.

"Well, I'm going to go now," Killian said, taking Emma upstairs to his room. "Sorry about that. Liam likes to embarrass me."

Emma smiled. "I didn't know you had a brother," Emma said.

"He's in college," Killian said. "He's not around that much anymore but we're still close."

"And were you two talking about me together? You do have Jones charm," Emma teased.

"I, uh, I don't know, that was- that was just," Killian stumbled through his words.

Emma laughed. "You don't be nervous," Emma said. "I think it's cute. Anyways, you know you and your brother are really alike. I see the resemblance."

"Yeah he taught me a lot," Killian said.

Emma stayed over for a few hours. Alice happily allowed her to stay for dinner. It was nice and there was a lot of conversation. Emma felt like she had a second family. Alice had been so welcoming to her. She never felt like she had a real family before Mary Margaret and David came along.

"Anyways, I think I'm going to go upstairs," Liam said, getting up from the table.

"Alright," Alice said. "Emma, Killian, you two can go too."

"Um, I can help you clean up if you want," Emma said.

"It's alright, I can do it," Alice said.

"No really, I can help," Emma insisted. "It's the least I can do."

"Okay," Alice said. "Killian help Emma clean up."

"Okay mum," Killian said, getting up. He and Emma put the dishes in the dishwasher. They started to clean the bigger dishes that were too big for the dishwasher, like the pots and pans.

Killian filled the sink with soap and water while Emma put all the food in Tupperware containers.

They got halfway through the dishes when Emma accidentally got soap on Killian's shirt. Killian flicked soap back at her.
