Saturday morning Ruby was knocking on Emma's door. "Emma, get up!" She yelled.
"It's nine and it's a weekend!" Emma complained. "Who even let you in?"
"Mary Margaret did," Ruby said. "Come on, get up! We have to get ready for prom!"
"I have a dress, I have a hairbrush, and I have makeup. I'll be ready in an hour," Emma said. "Which means I don't have to get up until at least ten thirty."
"You forgot about brunch with Robin and Killian before we get ready. That's at ten thirty and it takes twenty minutes to get there."
Emma rolled her eyes. "Fine!" She yelled. "Come in, the door is unlocked."
Ruby opened the door and sat on Emma's bed. "Get up."
"What should I wear to brunch?" Emma asked, sitting up.
"Clothes. Literally any clothes," Ruby told her.
"Fine..." She said, getting out of bed and getting dressed. "Satisfied?" She asked.
"Yes," Ruby smiled. "Now brush your hair."
"Okay, mom," Emma said, rolling her eyes and going into her bathroom. She put her hair in two braids.
"That's better," Ruby said.

They went to Granny's and everyone else was already there."Sorry we're late..." Emma said. "Ruby forgot her jacket at her house."
"That's alright, Swan," Killian said, moving over so Emma could sit next to him while Ruby sat next to Robin.
"Do you know what everyone else is wearing?" Emma asked.
"Graham is wearing a black suit and a red tie to match my dress," Ruby said. Graham asked Ruby to prom a few days before. Nothing was awkward between him and Emma, except for the fact that Killian practically hated Graham.
"What's Regina wearing?" Killian asked Robin. Robin had managed to gain the courage to ask Regina to prom.
"She's wearing a black dress," Robin told them. "Black is her color."
After they finished brunch, Ruby and Emma met up with Ariel and Belle to get ready, while Killian and Robin picked up their tuxes.

"Let me do your hair, please," Ruby asked Belle."Okay, okay," Belle laughed. "Only since you've asked a million times in the past five minutes."
Ruby smiled, satisfied with herself, and started braiding Belle's hair into a French side braid.
"Can you believe we're seniors?" Belle asked.
"Not really," Emma said.
"Are you kidding? Next year we'll be in college. Parties, guys, roommates, I am ready for it," Ruby smiled.
"Don't say that too loud, Graham might hear you," Emma joked.
"How's that going, anyways?" Belle asked.
"It's going pretty well actually," Ruby answered.
They talked about guys and college for the rest of the time until their dates came.

"You look amazing, love," Killian smiled at Emma as they got into the limo."Thanks," she smiled back. "You look pretty good too."
"Well thank you," Killian said, sitting down next to Emma.
"Aren't you excited?" Emma asked.
"Yeah," Killian said. "You definitely are."
Emma laughed lightly. "Yep."
