"What do you know about this Gold figure?" David asked, bringing Killian into his office.

"What do you mean? I don't know anything..." Killian lied. "It's not important. It was a long time ago."

"It is important, Killian. It's for Emma, please, tell me what happened," David said.

"Fine... Gold has hated my family for a long time now. It was because of my dad, really. My dad cheated on Mom with Gold's wife. They ran away together, leaving Gold alone. He was enraged and has been hostile towards my family ever since. He's obviously been planning this as some sort of revenge," Killian shrugged, cutting the story short. The whole story would've taken longer.

"Wow..." David sighed.

"I'm going to go, I told Emma I'd be back soon and it's been like an hour," Killian said. "I'll come back later."

"Sounds good," David nodded.

"Hey," Emma smiled, looking at Killian when he walked through the door. "You're back."

"Yes I am," Killian smiled back. "How are you feeling?"

"Good. Guess what?" Emma asked, smiling. "The doctor said that I don't have a major head injury meaning that I'm better."

"So you want me to tell you what happened?" Killian asked.

"You promised," Emma said.

"Fine," he sighed. He started to tell her the story.

Killian watched as Jefferson held the gun up. He knew if he tried to stop him he would shoot. Then, there was a gunshot. Killian panicked, expecting to see Emma lying on the ground in pain. He didn't want to look. He slowly looked down at Emma.

She was on the ground but she didn't look too injured. He wondered where the bullet was. He looked around and saw Jefferson running, holding his arm. David was running after him and handcuffed him.

The bullet must have hit Jefferson but not well enough for it to be major. He shook his head and kneeled next to Emma. He tried shaking her but she was unconscious. Jefferson must have pushed her down when he tried running. Graham came over to them after Jefferson was in the police car.

"David's going to get Jefferson in a cell. He wants us to get Emma to the hospital," Graham said. "David took the Jefferson's car and said we could use the police car. Is Emma okay?"

Killian explained she would probably be okay, even though he was nervous for her. He got into the back of the car with her while Graham drove.

"So, Jefferson's in the cell?" Emma asked.

"Yeah, we interrogated him yesterday," Killian told her.

"What happened?" Emma asked.

"Um, how about you just come with me to the station. We can fill you in," Killian said.

When they got to the station, David was scribbling something on a stack of papers. He looked up and saw Emma.

"Oh, hey. How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Good. What's going on? The doctor said you can tell me, promise," Emma told him, seeing Neal and Jefferson.

"Turns out this was way more elaborate than I thought," David said, directing them to the papers on his desk. He had been creating lists of what they know, suspects, motives, etcetera.

"Wow," Emma muttered. "Wait, Neal and Jefferson were in on it?"

"Yeah..." David told her. "They aren't talking about it at all, though."
