Aurora POV

We were now standing at the door of our house when I knocked so gently.

Then my father answered the door

"Aurora you don't have to knock to your own house and why are you not in school today"

I stepped aside so he could see Daxton behind me further down the stairs

"Oh so you told her then"

"Actually she found out on her own" he smiled with pride

"Right well you both better come in then"

We walked into the lounge and sat down. My mother appeared

"Oh hello I didn't know we had company honey you should of told me I would of put something better on" mum said

"Dear I think you better join us we need to talk" Dad said

"Sounds serious"

Once everyone was seated at their seats Daxton looked to my Dad. Then my Dad bent his head to show his neck out of respect for Daxton.

"Madam my name is Prince Daxton Martin the first I am a Royal Original and for centuries I have scaled the earth looking for my mate. And the other day I bumped into her she ran from me and that frustrated me to no end. When I finally met her she ignored me, so I asked to get to know her. Within a day I met the most beautiful intelligent smart witted girl who discovered who I was before I had a chance to tell her. I always knew she was to smart, I was waiting patiently to ask her to be my mate. Get to know her better before I told her the truth about me a Royal. But she turned up at my door step he took my hand and placed it in his, I had a ridiculous smile on my face I was so happy and she said yes to being my lifetime mate. Your daughter Aurora Moore is my mate."

I looked up to see my mum crying, well my father just sat there not shocked as he of course knew.

"So what happens now?" Dad asked

"If Aurora let's me I would love to take her home to my castle where she will be fully protected until we have fully consummated our union, till then she will need to be protected 24/7"

"Oh" is all I say. I didn't even think about not seeing my family again or out living them, I watch my father and mother grow old and possibly die before me. And Travis omg what about Travis I will miss all his adventures, meeting his mate for the first time, seeing his pups, I would out live them too. Why did I not think of all this.

"Are you ok" Daxton said while giving my hand a little squeeze

"I'm just thinking about my family and what will happen to them"

As if knowing exactly what I meant he  grabbed me and held me in a warm embrace giving me small kisses to my head.

"I know that this is a difficult situation for you. So we can stay for as long as you need"

I nodded my head. I didn't want to keep him away from his home longer than needed. But I don't know when and how long I would be away from my family again. But we could always talk about that later.

"What did you want to do now?"

"Do you think it would be alright if we go back to school I really want to see Jayla and Travis"

"Yeah sure"

"Prince Daxton before you leave would it be ok if we had a few words alone with Aurora" Dad asked

"Of course" he replied "I'll wait in the car for you" he said before turning to my parents

When he walked out my Dad walked up to me and hugged me.

"I know this scares you, but it's for the good of all wolf kind honey, and Prince Daxton will look after you and care for you, don't feel like you have to stay for us. We can always come visit you and we will be around for a little bit longer than what your thinking" he said

"I know it's just you all are my family and I love you all. I'm scared something will happen to you and while I'm not around to help" I cried

Realization finally hit me, and it hit me hard. I just cried while my father and mother held me.

"Shhh Come on darling you should be happy you've found your mate a mate who will give you everything we can't give you. I mean he can give you immense power and strength" Mum smiled

"Mum I really don't care about all that, I'm more scared about losing my family" I said. I stopped crying, sometimes I really don't think my mother gets what's important in life

"Ok well I better get to school" I say

"We will talk about this more later honey we love you" Dad said

"I love you too"

I walked out and got in the car with Daxton he held my hand while he drove. I was in my own quiet mind and I felt like the world was on my shoulders. I looked at our forest that surround our house. I could felt a heavy sensation in my chest.

"Daxton can you pull over"

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah can you pull over please"

Once he pulled over I jumped out and started to hyperventilate

"Aurora just breathe" he was rubbing my arms up and down. "Breathe baby, breathe, come on, that's it"

I was slowing my breathing and calming my nerves, he looked at me worried

"Do you want to go for a run?"

I looked around it was a beautiful day and with everything going on in my head it felt like a great stress reliever

"Yes please"

"Ok you go to that tree and I'll go to this one. But Aurora don't you dare run off on me. Understand"

"Yep"

10 mins later we emerged from our spots, I was much smaller than him with light brown fur while he was shade darker, much bigger than me and if its even possible hes shone bright blue with a gold out line. He walked up to me and licked me. He actually licked me. Eww disgusting

Then I looked at him and then turned to run we were running in our wolf form and it felt so good to run again, my paws hitting the soft mud and fallen leaves breaking every small branch or tweak long its path. Daxton was running by my side I didn't run as fast as I wanted to because I didn't want to out run him I wanted to run side by side with him. I felt him nudge me to follow him so I did, we ran to a waterfall with surrounded greenery everywhere and bright pink and yellow flowers on the waters edge. Then I did the unthinkable and jumped in and so did Daxton then we wolf paddled to the side and jumped out. We lay on a soft piece of grass baking in the sun with the worries of tomorrow forgotten.

Then we heard it a growl so deep and loud it shock the trees.
