Aurora POV

I watched as Daxton changed into his human form and stood in front of me bare naked.

"Aurora I need you to drop to the ground for me, don't change from your wolf form and stay where you  are ok"

I did as he said and dropped to the ground. I watched as he stood tall.

We watched a wolf much smaller than Daxton approached us, but it was still bigger than me. It had fur black as the midnight sky and light brown eyes, it was taking slow steps while bearing its teeth at us. And growling.

"Change" he demanded

And just like that the wolf changed into a man, not as muscular as my man.

"Why are you here" Daxton asked

He smiled "I hear the Prince has found his mate, I've come to congratulate him by sinking my teeth into her neck and claiming her as mine"

Daxton growled "You fucking dear speak to a Royal like this, who are you"

"I am your worst nightmare"

And at that he lunged at Daxton, but he didn't even get a chance to put his teeth marks into Daxton before Daxton ripped his throat out with his claws. Then I watched in horror as the body of the wolf dropped to the ground with his head hanging to the side. It was a gruesome sight.

"Baby close your eyes I'm going to have a quick dip in the water and then we are getting you out of here ok, don't move from your spot"

I whimper as I lay with my eyes shut. Then I heard a splash and then I felt Daxton rub his wet hand on my fur

"Its ok, you can open your eyes now, I want you to go to that tree and change for me, and be quick baby I think there are more where he came from"

So I did as he asked and quickly changed into my clothes and ran over to him he had his hand waiting I quickly took it and we ran as fast as we could back to the car.

"We are going to Daniel's house and mind link your father to meet us at Alpha's house"

"Ok"

Dad

Hey honey

We were attacked by a wolf but Daxton killed it, we are on our way to Alpha Jacob's house can you meet us there

Are you ok, I'm on my way where are you

I'm fine, we just left the forest by Creek Road

Ok I'm going to send a few wolves to retrieve the body

Ok Dad I'll see you soon

"My father will meet us there and he is sending a few wolves to retrieve the body" I told Daxton

He only nodded as if only half listening to me.

We reached Alpha Jacob's house and he was waiting eagerly for our arrival.

"Come on lets get you inside" Alpha Jacob's said

We walked into his office and I sat on the couch. Not looking anywhere in particular. Daxton was pulling at his hair then he looked at me and kneeled in front of me touching my face looking over my body

"Are you hurt?" He asked

"No he didn't even touch me"

"Do you want something to drink"

"No I'm fine are you hurt?" I looked at him searching for any injuries

"No I am fine, we will wait for your father and then we will discuss what we need to do next, did you want to stay or do you want to go lay down or something"

"No I want to be here with you"

"Ok if you want you can lay here"

"Its ok I want to see my Dad"

He nodded knowing what I wanted

20 mins later my Dad arrived he searched the room and when his eyes landed on me he grabbed me into a tight hug and just held me. Kissing me on the head

"Are you sure your ok honey"

"I'm fine"

"Prince what happened" Dad asked

"They know who she is to me, he wanted to claim her. She is not safe here I can't protect her alone, I will need my army to come here, I will need at least 20 royal guards they will need somewhere to sleep and I will provide the food for my army, but she can't be left alone."

"I'm not sure I can provide that much shelter in my pack Prince at best I can accommodate to 10 guards" Alpha Jacob's replied

"Shit that's not enough"

"Why do you need so many I mean we have a pack of warriors here that can protect her" Dad said

"Unfortunately they won't do, the wolf that attacked us was an Alpha" he said

"Shit we are in trouble, our warriors won't be able to defend themselves against an Alpha and if he knew soon word will get out" Alpha Jacob's said

"So what do we do" Dad asked

I sat there listening if Alphas start to attack our pack we would be defenseless against them they are much bigger and stronger. And I couldnt see my pack die for me to protect me. They had the basic training only the elite warriors had Travis training them to the bone, they were our best and there were not many not enough to take out an Alpha. What can I do, how can I help my pack I thought, I know what needs to be done

"I will leave with Daxton tomorrow to his home so that no harm will come to the pack, Daxton and I will be well protected in his land" I looked at my father with tears in eyes "I love you Dad"

He hugged me tighter "I love you too sweetie"

"Aurora are you sure" Daxton asked

"Its what is best for everyone, set it up" I smiled to show it was ok

"Ok I'll make the arrangements"

Dad looked at me and smiled, that's when I couldn't hold it in anymore and I just cried. Alpha Jacob left to give us some privacy.

"Dad will they attack the pack when we leave?"

"I don't know honey I think you made the right choice, they will follow you but the royal guards will protect you I know you will be safe there,  its getting you there safely that worries me"

To say I was scared was an understatement
