Aurora POV
Daxton was showing me around the gardens, it was truly something out of a fairytale I loved it. There were so many rose bushes of different colors, soft pink, dark red, yellow, white, flowers of different kinds, tulips, orchids and many more. We were walking hand in hand while he showed me garden after garden. When we heard a female voice call Daxton, immediately we turned to see a beautiful girl with long silky blonde hair and the same stunning blue eyes as Daxton. Wow she is beautiful and the way she walked in heels along the stoney path was something out of red carpet. She looked like a model. Tall, gracious, and confidently powerful.
"Sam"
"Brother I thought we were having lunch inside?"
"Sorry I got a bit distracted, Sam this is Aurora my mate"
"Right" she walked around me looking at me up and down "have you told her about what her role is in the Royal family, she will need a lot of work"
"Sam don't be rude!"
"I am not, I am stating the obvious, her clothes are mismatched, it does nothing for her figure, her hair needs work, is she at least book smart"
"Sam that is enough, I did not invite you here to judge her and you will respect her she is my mate and your future Queen"
"Yes well future Queen or not she needs work a lot of work"
"Sam.." I cut him off
"Hi I'm Aurora, it is nice to meet you" I put out my hand for her to shake, but she looked at it like it had some disease
"Well at least she has manners come I have organized lunch and we shall not be late"
I looked at Daxton "I'm sorry about her"
"Its ok baby" I smiled
"Hmm I love the way you call me baby" he smiled and then kissed me
"Daxton enough of that, we all need our appetite for food, now come along" Sam said
"Argh you would think she was the older one, come on before she drags me by the ear"
I laughed that would be a sight.
Lunch was no better it was awkward to say the least, she would never directly include me in the conversations with Daxton. She always stated things never implied, or suggested. It was her way or not at all. Daxton growled a lot, as for me I knew she was coming from a place of love for her brother. She was right I needed to look, and act more royal. If I was to be ruling by his side I needed to be everything he needed and more. Because we needed to rule side by side, we not only had ourselves to think of but the whole werewolf community. I needed help. So after lunch I excused myself. Daxton thought I was angry I wasn't even close to it. Sam was educating me in the most unsubtle way possible. I grabbed my mobile and waited
"Who is this?"
"What's up bro, what ya doing?"
"Aurora?"
"Hey brother"
"Hey brother! he yelled you were suppose to ring me as soon as you landed and got settled in do you know how angry and unsettled I've been for the last 48 hours, do you?"
"Oops"
"Oops Aurora oops"
"Sorry brother I was jet legged or something"
He started laughing his head off
"Ok what's so funny aye"
"Its jet lagged sis not jet legged God I miss you. How are you" he signed
"I could be better"
"Why are they not treating you well?"
"They are treating me fine, anyway I need your help"
"What's up"
For the next 30 mins I explained what happened when we got here to meeting Sam and what I wanted to do
"She sounds like a bitch" he laughed
"Travis she is not, she is just looking out for her brother and shes right I need to learn everything I can about packs and how they work and etc"
"Ok I'll do up a quick summary of what happens in a pack and then I'll email it to you, since you love to read, but you will have to refer back to Royal history as that is one subject I'm not confident on. Or you could ring Dad and ask him hes pretty on to it than I am with that subject"
"Ok Thanks bro, how are you though"
"Oh fine now that my little sister has decided to call her big brother, I swear to all that is good Aurora if for any reason you don't call me once a week I will be on the next plane to LA"
"I'm sorry I promise to call you every week and disturb your non existent social life" I laughed
"You better, anyway sis I have to go but call Dad hes a mess without you"
"I will love you smelly bum"
"Love you too royal pain in my ass" we laughed
I immediately called my Dad
"Hello?"
"Hi Dad how are you"
"Aurora is that you"
"Yep" I smiled I didn't realise how much I missed hearing my Dads voice
For the next hour or so we talked about when I got here and what I wanted to do, he quickly got into a Royal run down.
So Daxton parents were the late King Fredrick Martin and Queen Agatha Martin. King Frederick was prince Frederick he was a royal to the original wolves as for Agatha she was a very tough Alpha from Germany she meet Frederick while at a Royal ball where Frederick was yet to find his Mate. It was a fairytale mating. The original wolves we Edgar and Caroline Martin they ruled for centuries before Frederick took over the throne. And then comes Daxton and Samantha"
"What happened to King Edgar and Queen Caroline Martin? Well rumour has it they were killed by an ambush, which resulted in Prince Daxton ruling over the kingdom, but the Royal decree states he can't be King without a mate or someone to rule by his side. He searched for years for you. You know I had my doubts about him, only wanting the crown and not a mate. But I see the way he looks at you, like I look at your mother. He looks at you like you life is more important than his. And I know in my heart he will cherish you long before I am gone"
I cried I love my Dad
"Aww Dad I love you and miss you, when you get a chance to get away for a break will you promise to come see me"
"Of course my honey I will"
"Good I will keep you to your promise"
"Ok honey look I have to go but you call me every week.."
"Or else your be on the next plane, maybe I won't call next week so you, Mum and Travis have to come find me"
"Aha so your brother said the same thing aye well you better call us we miss you honey"
"I miss you and I love you Dad"
"I love you too sweetheart"
I lay on the bed and cried thinking of my family and how they were, I missed them dearly.
"Hey you alright baby" Daxton asked
"I just miss my family, sorry to be such a downer"
"Aww come here, I climbed over to sit on his lap while he played with my hair sorry my sister wasn't more welcoming"
"No I like her"
He pulled me at arms length "my sister was so mean today"
"No she loves you, I understand where she is coming from she wants the best for you"
"I am truly thankful to the moon goddess for gifting you to me"
