Aurora POV

After freshening up we walked downstairs only to find Travis and Jayla sleeping at the table with charts, name tags and paper scattered everywhere. I looked at Daxton he smiled

"Um maybe we took longer than we thought"

I yawned, earning me a disapproving look from Daxton.

"You all need to get a good rest"

"But we don't have long and the Alphas and Lunas will be here"

"I know that, but you need your rest"

"Ok I'll have breakfast with you then I'll go to sleep, I'll wake these two up to go sleep in a proper bed"

After waking Travis and Jayla we had a guard escort them to their rooms.

I sat down to eat with Daxton, he was reading some of the paperwork we had done last night

"You've accomplished a lot since yesterday"

I just nodded my head because I could feel my eyes getting heavier and heavier. And then I closed them and felt as if my body had slid of the chair and I was waiting for the floor to catch me, but it didn't it was Daxton arms I knew this because the immense pull I had towards him. Then I felt him pick me up and carry me I snuggled into his chest while he carried me up the stairs to our room. And then I felt him place me in the bed and pull the blankets over me. Then he kissed me on my head, and I heard him say 'good night baby'

By the time I woke up it was late in the afternoon, I got up and ran downstairs and I saw Jayla and Travis were up already.

"Omg I slept nearly all day"

"Yeah you must of been tired sis"

"I haven't organized anything today and we only have a week and 6 days left"

"Wow calm down it's ok" replied Jayla

"How is it ok? we haven't done anything productive today"

"Yeah we haven't but your cute as sexy boyfriend/lover did"

"Eww that's my sister's mate your talking about"

"I know he is F I N E"

"Enough Jayla what are you talking about" I growled I'm not sure if I growled because she didn't answer my question or at the way she was describing my mate.

"Daxton organized everything we discussed last night"

"Oh" I said a bit disappointed

"Wow don't be too grateful Aurora"

I shook my head " No no it's not what you think I want this to be my project and a test as the new Queen, to see if I could live to Daxtons expectations, but it looks like I failed the first day" I sighed

"You know it's not that bad at least he's trying to help"

"Yeah I guess I should really be more grateful for his help"

"Sis since we have nothing more to do would you be ok with me checking out the training grounds?"

"Um sure actually we will come with you, so Jayla can have something else to talk about than my sexy as man, and you can watch, I'm going to mindlink Daxton to met us there"

"Ok why can't I go by myself though"

"The royal guards training area is closed off to outsiders sorry brother we need to ask for Daxtons permission first"
