Aurora POV

I woke to the cry of Ava I sat up immediately but Daxton was already out of bed returning with her bottle

"Morning sweetheart how did you sleep"
"Ok is Ava ok?"
"Yeah I just took longer than usually to heat up her bottle that's all, go back to sleep"
"No it's alright I'm up now I might as well get up and start my day"
"Well Doctors orders are you are to take it easy, I'm going to leave Ava with you while I go back to the office and catch up on some work if that's ok with you"
"Of course I would love to spend some time with Ava"
"By the way your father and mother will be here this afternoon to see you"
"Aww I'm so happy I've missed them"
"Hopefully your parents have forgiven me"
I looked it him confused
"Um yeah so your father tried to break my nose and your mother tried to kick me in the balls when they found out what I did to you"
"Omg Daxton I'm so sorry I didn't know they would do that"
"Um don't be sorry cause your father broke his fist on my face and your mother sprained her foot on my groin area, I'm invincible remember"
"Oh right"
"Ok well I'll see you at dinner time"

He handed Ava to me, then kissed me on my lips before he walked out the door.

"Well Ava looks like just you and me so first things first let's get cleaned up"

After I got us both ready and finally catching Ava who kept crawl away I finally got Ava into an outfit. Outside my door Carlos was standing waiting and when I saw him I ran to him and hugged him with one arm while holding Ava on my hip. He returned my hug

"Well it's good to see you up and about Aurora"
"Thanks"
"And can I say something before we go"
"Ahh sure"
"Aurora Martin don't you ever ever do that to me again, don't you ever run away and not tell me, if your angry at Daxton fine I understand but you don't get to run away from this friendship that hurt it hurt a lot that you couldn't trust me"
I stood there for a moment not realising just how much I affected him
"I'm sorry Carlos I promise to never do that again"
"Good now give me my god daughter"
"Oh I didn't know Daxton had chosen God parents yet"
"He hasn't I've just nominated myself seeing as you abandoned me and you owe me"
I laughed while handing Ava to him
"So what did you want to do"
"I wanted to check on the pack housing and daycare facilities"
"Ok wow are you sure you should be doing so much so soon"
"Yep come on let's go I want to see Gretchen and the girls"

Carlos drove us there and I couldn't be more happy to see Gretchen, Lola and Denise again. We sat at the kitchen table while they continued to tell me about who lives where and who was now mated. We talked about their new recipes.

'Baby where are you'
'I'm with Carlos at the pack house'
'Ok I'll have Travis drive over with your parents'
'Ok thank you'

When Travis turned up with my parents I ran to the door to let them in, as soon as I saw my Dad I ran to him and hugged him so tight I didn't realise just how much I had missed him
"Hi Daddy" I cried
"My princess how are you?"
"I'm better now you are here"
I turned to see my mother sobbing
I ran into her open arms and held her tightly
"Hi Mum"
"Aurora honey we've missed you"
"I've missed you both too"
"Someone wants to say Hi too" Travis said while holding Ava who had her arms stretched out
"Aww my gosh she has grown, give me, give me" Mum said as she took Ava from Travis and placed kisses all over Ava while she giggled innocently
"My god we have truly been blessed with beautiful genes. My grand baby is the most beautiful baby in the world"
"I think your being a bit bias Dad"
"Nope I just know"
"Come in meet some of our pack members"

We spent the day at the pack house before Carlos announced we were due home for dinner so we said our goodbyes and made our way home.

After dinner Daxton took Ava upstairs for a quick bath and put her to sleep while Mum and Travis went to bed

"Dad can I ask you something"
"Sure"
I pulled out a map and a list of our pack member who were grouped into families. And mated partners.
"Ok this looks serious"
"It kind is, if I wanted to build more housing and reduce people living in the pack to say 2 or 3 families where could I build?"
"Well honey it's not so much build and families move in most pack families live in the pack house because it's cheaper and convenient, they don't have to pay for food as the Alpha male and Alpha female provides for food supply in the pack house, and someone who can cook it for the masses, if you have individual housing the cost is to the individual families"
"Oh I see. What about if we build a massive green house where we provided food all year round. There will be more opportunities for wolves to get paid while providing food for the pack"
"It would have to be a really big green house, that helps with cost to you Daxton but what about the cook?"
"Hmm"
"What's with all the questions have the pack been talking about the lack of space"
"No not at all I just watched today at the amount of people living under one household and one of the teenagers had an argument with their parent about how he hates living there and how they were always poor so it got me thinking about how I could help our pack out that's all"
"You my darling daughter have always had a big heart, but I am tired so can we continue this tomorrow?"
"Of course Daddy thank you for being here I really have missed you both"
"We've missed you both too"

Hmmm how can I help my pack survive.
