Aurora POV

I mindlinked Travis and Jayla they came to see me. Travis wouldn't leave my side Carlos slept in the chair by the window while Travis slept on the chair by my bed. I couldn't sleep.

I felt Travis move

"Hey your still awake?"

"Yeah I couldn't sleep"

"Sis this is not healthy for the pup, what happened between you two"

"We had a disagreement"

"Ok about"

"Its complicated"

"You know what's complicated is my sister who is carrying a pup, who is not telling me anything and making me worried sick, you need to sort this out, if not for your own sanity then for the life your carrying"

"I know"

"It might ease your pain if you talk about it"

"I can't I don't want judgement on him, when it's only my version of events, there are two sides here. Your opinion will be clouded by your brotherly love for me. And that's not fair. I need to speak to Daxton"

"Then do that sis because your not well, whatever happened between you two is eating you alive, but for now get some sleep I'm here for you, I love you. Your a strong independent women who can rule the world and your my sister"

"Thank you Travis, I love you too"

"Good now sleep I'll be here when you wake"

24 hours later

No word from Daxton and my heart broke just a tiny bit. When Carlos returned after a shower he came to collect me the next day he had his head bowed, maybe in shame of how his cousin was reacting

"Are you ready my Queen"

"Yes"

We walked into the mansion it felt cold and uninviting. I walked upstairs had a shower and was going to meet Jayla downstairs in the kitchen. Carlos stood to the side of the table.

"So spill" Jayla said

"What?"

"You are my best friend and you won't talk to me"

"I can't"

"Why not?"

"Its between me and my cold blooded husband"

"Right"

She placed a tub of strawberry ice cream in front of me with a fruit salad and spoons.

"I mean he really is being an ass"

I heard Carlos clear his throat and Jayla laughed

"Don't you ahem me Carlos and at ease solider we don't need protection we as in me your Queen needs a friend"

He bowed his head sat next to me and grabbed a spoon off the table and snatched my tub if ice cream and started devouring it. I looked at him in shock

"What Strawberry is my favourite"

We laughed at his childlike behavior. When I felt him before I saw him. He was standing at the doorway

"Aurora may we talk"

I looked at him

"Nope sorry I'm busy"

"Aurora please"

"You two leave"

"Hang on you can't tell them to leave they are here for me"

He growled I watched as Carlos stood and walked out then Jayla placed a hand on my arm, we shared a look her pleading with me to talk to him. I nodded my head. After she left. I stood up to put the ice cream away no longer hungry. And placed the fruit salad in the fridge. I placed our spoons in the sink and turned to look at Daxton who was silently watching from the doorway. I was leaning against the sink.

"So talk"

"Aurora your free to roam around the mansion and pack grounds again"

I couldn't believe that's what he wanted to tell me, no how are you, how is the baby, no I'm sorry for being a dick husband. Nothing argh

"Gee thanks, am I free to leave the grounds of this pack"

"Why where will you go"

"I don't know yet"

"Why would you leave?"

"Um I don't know maybe I've got other places to go too"

"No you will not leave these pack grounds"

I laughed

"So I'm not of royal blood, I'm not your equal, I'm the women you call wife because of your pup. So Daxton what am I to you? Your little trophy wife your Queen who has no entitlement to the crown? Who am I to you"

"Your my.... "

"Ha yep just like I thought I am nothing you call your own, so if you don't mind I'll be leaving tomorrow to see my parents"

"You will not leave these grounds"

I walked up to him, looked into his eyes

"See that's the thing Daxton I'm nothing to you, so I don't have to listen to you not now not ever"

I went to walk pass him but he grabbed my arm and sparkes flew through my body goddess I missed his touch, his scent, I missed him

"Aurora please" I heard his voice break a little

"Goodbye Daxton"

And I walked out and left him standing there. I ran up to my room locked the door and grabbed my suitcase and started packing when I heard the door to the bedroom coming flying off its hinges and wood pieces shatter and fly across the room. I could feel his rage. I stood with my back to him, looking at my suitcase in tears. I felt his minty breath by my ear and I closed my eyes I inhaled his scent oh how I've missed his presence so much.

"You will not leave me, you are mine, you are my wife my Queen and everything I hold dear in this world. Your carrying my future pup. I love you Aurora"

I didn't say a word I just stood there.
I closed my suitcase I grabbed the handle I turned to look him in his eyes.

"I will stay on your territory but I will not share a bed with you again"

And I walked out
