Daxton POV

1 month since Aurora gave birth to our daughter

Our daughter whom I have not named yet is now crawling its amazing how fast our pups grow

Travis has been helping with his niece, since she was born and she loves him. And he in return adores her.

Everyday I sit and wait for Aurora to wake and every day I talk to her about our day mine and our daughters . Every day I apologize for the harm I caused for the fear I had, I was so scared I let my mind cloud my love for Aurora. I hurt her I'm not sure if she will ever forgive me.

At first days turned into weeks, I just pray to the moon goddess it doesn't turn into years.

I was tidying up her room when the monitors started to go crazy and I watched as Aurora shook uncontrollably in bed I yelled out for help and I heard noises all around me, it was like watching tv with the mute button turned on. Nurses Doctors all trying to save their Luna while I stood there quietly watching as nurses held her down while the doctors were resuscitateing her. I watched as her back arched on the bed. Then she sat up opened her eyes and took a deep breath. I watched as she lay back down and all the doctors were in shock and disbelief. Then I heard it so low and husky "Daxton"

Thats all it took for my body to react I walked to her side and looked at her in the eyes and held her hand

"I'm here"
"Baby" she motioned to her stomach
"She is beautiful and she's with Travis, I'm so glad your alive I'm so sorry I hurt you can you ever forgive me"
She nodded, but she never said yes that was good enough for me. I kissed her all over her face. I turned to see the doctors leaving.

I mindlinked Travis to tell him Aurora was awake and to bring our daughter so Aurora could see her.

"I want to shower before I hold her, will  you help me please"
"Of course"

I place my arms under her knees and she held onto my shoulders, I walked  us to the bathroom and sat her down on the shower chair. While I was heating  up the water, I removed her clothes and I teared  up seeing my once curvy mate now sitting in front of me she was skin and bones. I did this to her I failed her and I couldn't help but cry, I grabbed the flannel and placed body wash on it and washed her body so gently I didn't realise I was sobering uncontrollably now

"Daxton stop"
My hand stopped what it was doing, in fear that I was hurting her
She placed her fragile thin hands on my cheeks
"Daxton look at  me"
I did and I fell to my knees and cried on her lap
"I'm so sorry Aurora I was so scared that I pushed you away and I will never forgive myself for it."
"I love you Daxton"
"How can you love me after the horrible way I treated you, after all the shitty things I said to you"
"Because you came back for me, you found me, you saved me and you cared for me and not once have you given up on us, I heard you everyday talking to me about our daughter I heard you everyday apologise for your mistakes so now stop because I forgive you please please Daxton promise to talk to me next time fear enters into your mind and we will deal with it together"
"I promise"
"Good now please let's clean up so I can see my baby"

And just like that my beautiful mate forgave me. We washed ourselves up I had to mindlink Travis to bring us some clothes. I ended up dressing us in hospital gowns and trust me they were small and had a lot of holes in the back.

Finally we heard a knock on the door we were laying on the bed side by side when we heard the knock, instantly Aurora sat up. And in walked Travis and baby.

Aurora reached our for baby and instantly baby reached out for her, it was like baby always knew Aurora was her mother. Probably because everyday in the afternoon I would bring baby to see her mummy. I watched as Aurora held our baby so tight to her and cried happy tears and baby cried too.

"Oh no what's wrong baby"
"It's probably because she can feel your emotions sis" Travis said as he hugged both Aurora and baby
"Oh, I love you so much honey, Daxton what did you name her"
"I haven't I thought we could both chose a name that we like?"
"Hmm I've always loved Ava as a strong name"
"I love it"
"Ok Ava Agatha Tina Martin you will be loved by all and you will be strong independent and caring"
"Just like your mother"

I watched as Ava played with Auroras hair she was a spitting image of her mother long brown hair but Ava had my blue eyes and she had Aurora smile too. Watching them interact was so memorizing I couldn't turn away it was such a moment of peace and love.

Over the next few days Aurora stayed in for observation and the pack came with flowers and gifts. Sending blessings to the Moon Goddess for her safe return to us. Aurora hated the attention by Ava loved it she would smile or giggle at people she was definitely a crowd pleaser, I could already tell I  was going to have my hands fill with Ava when she grew older.
