When Sam woke up, he momentarily forgot what day it was. He stood up and walked into the living room, and took a step back when he saw Jo, Charlie, Kevin, Bobby and Benny fast asleep in the living room. He checked the calendar, only to remember it was now Saturday, the Saturday after Halloween.

His and Dean's friends had stayed over, as they did most weekends. Sam was the first one up, which was odd considering it was 9:30 in the morning. Nevertheless, Sam shrugged it off and hopped in the shower. After washing his hair and body, Sam got dressed and went out to meet with Gabriel, as they had scheduled to meet that day.

Sam left at 10:30, when everyone was, surprisingly, still asleep. His date was at 11:30, but he wanted to get out of the house before Dean and/or Charlie woke up. He walked over to the nearby park, spending a little time there before his date started. His date was at the nearby beach. Even though it was cold, Gabriel had gotten an idea from his sister to search for rocks that matched their eye color. Sam was easy to sway with the idea, and so they settled on that. Sam walked around in the park, texting Gabriel the entire time.

At 11:30, he saw a familiar car pull up, and out stepped Gabriel from the passenger's seat.

"Samsquatch!" Gabriel cried eagerly, holding his arms out to hug Sam. "Ey babe, you're looking hot as ever. You ready for today?"

"Mhm." Sam murmured as Gabriel stood on his tiptoes to try and kiss Sam. Sam chuckled and leaned down to quickly kiss Gabriel on the lips before the two made their way back to the car.

"I'll drop you two lovebirds off at the beach. Michael and I'll be walking along the boardwalk." Lucifer spoke, his hands on the wheel as he started to drive. Lucifer was starting to get fed up with having to drive Gabriel everywhere, so he was now fighting alongside Gabriel to get Gabriel his own car.

"Alright." Gabriel responded, too busy rubbing his face into Sam's shoulder to really pay attention. Sam was blushing, his eyes looking out the window. The car ride was filled with chatter and music, and after a nearly hour-long drive, they arrived at the beach. They unloaded their stuff and Sam and Gabriel took off.

Gabriel dragged Sam towards the nearest rocks, and the two of them actually had plenty of fun looking through the rocks. Sam found one that matched his eye color first, and it took two hours to find one that matched Gabriel's eyes. The two of them had plenty of fun during it, however.

"Sam, Sam look." Gabriel cried, holding up a funnily-shaped rock. "Catch!"

Gabriel chucked it to Sam, who briefly caught it before dropping it in the sand. Gabriel laughed as Sam picked it up, but stopped laughing when Sam chucked it at him. The two began throwing rocks at each other, which caused multiple people to avoid them as the rocks flew through the air.

They laughed all the while, and soon, they began walking along the boardwalk. They hiked for the next two hours, until they were tired and hungry and thirsty. At 5 pm, they all packed up and Lucifer took ahold of the wheel, driving to a nearby fast food place, which just so happened to be Five Guys. Once there, they all got burgers and soda, all of them but Sam. Sam got a burger and a water.

Sam had gotten a few texts from Dean throughout the day, and he had only answered a few of them due to how busy he was, and how much fun he was having. At 7, he and Gabriel swung by the park.

The park wasn't that full, with only a dozen or so people, compared to the usual three or four dozen people that littered the park. The weather was growing colder, creeping into the lower sixties and higher fifties. Everyone was bundled in jackets and scarves and mittens and hats. Gabriel loved the cold, because it brought with it snow and snow days.

Sam had always been moving from state to state, so he had never fully gotten used to the cold. One winter he'd be in Maine, in constant snow, and the next he'd be in Arizona. Gabriel took his scarf off and gave it to Sam, as Sam shivered in the cold. Gabriel wrapped the scarf around Sam's head, and used it to pull Sam down. Gabriel then kissed Sam, and in that moment, that was all that mattered.

Sorry for not updating earlier today, I was busy and the draft for this chapter wasn't on my phone. Anyways, enjoy. Destiel's coming up soon  ;)
