Chapter 44 ~ Gmod and Charlie being a boss

It was the Friday of the Spring Break week, and Sam was exhausted. Gabriel had been taking him everywhere he could think, from the movies to parks and even one amusement park. Sam laid on his bed and stretched his arms, yawning. It was 9 in the morning and he was already tired and done with the day.

Sam pulled himself out of bed and walked to his closet, pulling out an outfit before putting it on. He then turned, ran a hand through his hair and walked out into the living room, where Dean was stretched out on the couch, fast asleep. Sam shook his head and walked to the fridge, pulling out some milk before pouring a glass for himself.

Sam sat on the couch, startling Dean awake. "Morning, Dean." Sam deadpanned as he drank the glass of milk he had poured for himself. Dean sighed and groaned.

"Don't do that!" Dean cried in frustration, sitting himself up. "You know I hate that."

Sam's phone began to ring, and Sam sighed. "It's probably Gabriel. He's been taking me every-which-way."

Sam picked up the phone, and sure enough, it was Gabriel, inviting Sam over to his house to watch TV shows.

"He wants to watch TV, finally. I've been waiting for him to invite me to do something that doesn't require walking around." Sam sighed, standing up. "Can you drive me?"

Dean looked up at his younger brother. "Just have Gabriel drive you. He has a car now."

Sam nodded and texted Gabriel to come pick him up. Gabriel texted back, agreeing to pick Sam up. Sam put his phone down for a quick second and glanced over at Dean, who had taken out his own phone. Sam sighed and walked into his room, grabbing a few things before Gabriel arrived.

Gabriel arrived exactly ten minutes after he texted Sam. Sam walked outside and squeezed himself into the passenger's seat.

Gabriel leaned over, leaving a quick peck on Sam's cheek before he pulled back and focused on the wheel. "Okay, to my house we go!"

Gabriel drove them to the Novak house, but stopped at a fast food drive thru to get some food and drinks. Once done with that, Gabriel got them to his house, and they both ran inside, as the sky was beginning to get cloudy. Gabriel ran up the stairs with the bags of food in his hands, while Sam walked leisurely behind him, a drink in both hands. The two got to Gabriel's room and immediately sat on the floor and began munching on their food.

Gabriel turned on the TV, signed into his Netflix account and pulled up a show. He pressed play on the first episode, and as it began to play, reached for his drink. Sam leaned against the bed, and Gabriel rested his head on Sam's shoulder, and the two stayed like that for a while, content.

After Sam left, Dean lounged around on the couch. Cas was being dragged around by his mom on shopping errands; Charlie was in Florida, visiting family; everyone he knew was busy. Dean grabbed a random DVD from the movie collection and put it in the DVD player, and watched it play. Dean was bored out of his mind, until a little past noon, when Cas abruptly showed up on his doorstep.

"My mom finished shopping." Cas said simply, then invited himself in, walking inside without giving Dean the opportunity to turn him away. Which, Dean would never have done in the first place. Cas turned, looking around the barren living room, the random movie still playing, forgotten, on the TV. "I brought my computer. Gabriel invited me to play Gmod with him at 2 pm today."

"Oh, alright. I don't have much to do here, though." Dean said with a shrug. Cas shrugged, waving his hand, walking to the table. He then set his computer down, and waved at Dean to come closer.

"I have my computer, remember? I have plenty of things to do on it. Here, come see." Cas opened his computer, logged in, and pulled up a safari tab. He went to the YouTube website, and clicked on the search tab. "Who should I search up?"

At a quarter to 2, Gabriel suddenly turned off Netflix, and pulled out his computer. Gabriel then patted his bed. "Sam, sit on my bed, and watch me."

"What are you going to do?" Sam questioned, sitting on Gabriel's bed.

"Play Gmod against Cas, Lucifer, Balthazar, Samandriel and Michael. I'm gonna fucking own them." Gabriel explained, pulling up Gmod on his computer. He logged in, and went to the Murder gamemode. Gabriel turned, glanced at Sam, and frowned. "You ever play Gmod? I got an extra computer, you can set up on there."

Sam beamed and grabbed the extra computer Gabriel handed him. Suddenly, the front door opened, and Cas's voice, followed by Dean's, could be heard. Cas had returned home with Dean so Dean could use one of the Novak's computers to play Gmod with them.

Once Sam and Dean had made their accounts and opened up Gmod, everyone joined the Novak Prop Hunt Server. Charlie had joined as well, as she had her computer in Florida, and she had Gmod on her computer. Charlie had invited Jo to join, and sure enough, Jo was on the server in minutes. Soon, the game started, and all ten of them were thrusted into the gamemode.

In the first round, Dean, Cas, Lucifer, Charlie and Jo were on the Props, and Balthazar, Gabriel, Sam, Michael and Samandriel were on the Seekers. Cas coached Dean on what to do, as Dean had never played Prop Hunt. Gabriel also coached Sam while simultaneously finding and killing Lucifer, who swore loudly upon being killed.

The Props won that round, due to Charlie and Jo being bosses at the game. The next round, the Props lost, as Charlie and Jo managed to hunt down and kill all five props. Lucifer could be heard cheering into his mic as Gabriel and Balthazar both swore loudly.

"How are you two so good at this game?" Balthazar cried angrily, directing the cry at Charlie and Jo.

"Bitch, I've been playing Prop Hunt since I was 10. Try me." Charlie replied smugly.

"My mom got me gmod when I was 12, and I've been playing Prop Hunt since I was 13. I just happen to have a natural skill at the game." Jo responded, getting a groan in response from Balthazar.

The ten of them played Prop Hunt for the next four hours. Charlie and Jo annihilated the other team almost every round, except for a few rounds where Gabriel and Michael managed to kill them both off before either Charlie or Jo could do much. At 6:30, they all logged into the Murder gamemode, and played Murder for four hours.

I haven't played Gmod in months, I really need to play it again. Anyways, I meant to write more romance in this chapter but I was too lazy, but friendship is just as important as romance so shut up.
Also it's almost my birthday (next week) so I'm excited
