Drops of water gradually make their way down freckle covered skin
Its cold and wet but- comforting
There's some sort of cozy aura around this weather
The kind of atmosphere that makes you want to sit by a window drink tea and read a book
When it's not at least drizzling something feels as though its missing
I find now I tend to dread days where the ground is dry
I'm soaking but I'm smiling because even though all the cold droplets are seeping through my clothing I wouldn't want to be anywhere else
The frigid drops make a crown upon my dense hair and I am finally royal
By the time I go inside I appear to have taken a shower with my clothes on which brings me back to reality.
My family frantically worries I will get sick but through the worry I hear amusement dancing behind their words.
This weather is the best kind of weather. It's comforting and kind and gentle most of the time.
I revel in it.
I revel in rain.
