A beautiful broken boy shuts down his heart
Closes off his wonderful mind and tries to sit apart
His support group of friends try their best to help
His support group of friends is shut down with a shoutThe beautiful boy sits alone pretending to be content with himself
The boy who's heart is shattered and placed on a high up shelf
Where no one can reach, no one can try to achieve that satisfaction
Even if all they want to do is help, his friendship he'll retract from themA gorgeous girl glorifies her pain
Tries to hide her hurting heart and her very damaged brain
Refuses to be helped because, "help is for the weak"
Tries to be the help because, "sometimes help is all you need"The gorgeous girl slowly shatters and gradually withers away
The girl who's imagination is dying and will be gone if she waits another day
So she looks for an outlet, a way to express, a plug if you will
She finds one in her skin dancing with cool colors from childhood toysPaint of a crimson shade covers their canvases
Their paintbrushes are thin, and small but outlandish
Only one color to be used to illustrate the image they've grown to obsess over
And many colors used in a pathetic artistic attempt at a coverThey intertwine with their own thoughts
A concoction of Grimm and God
They intertwine with each other's words
Realizing how badly it would hurtHurt to get on a train and never get off
Hurt to catch a ride and not know where to exit
Hurt to dance in front of Hells doorway
Hurt to dance in front of Heaven's gatesSo the gorgeous girl and the beautiful boy speak
In soft tones that are no longer so bleak
Until one says "goodnight" and the other says "goodbye"
The beautiful girl and gorgeous boy will stay on this temporary happiness high
