"What?" Namjoon cried out.
"You two were holding hands?" Jin yelled.
"When did this happen?" Hoseok demanded.
Taehyung became grave, dropping his playful act. "This is the third scandal in a week you guys. It's starting to cause outrage and questions in the public."
"Why did you have to run off Taehyung?" Hoseok groaned. "The whole point of the staff being there was to prevent stupid crap like that!"
Taehyung hung his head. "I'm sorry."
"This is getting to be too much," Jimin buried his face in his hands. "What the hell are we supposed to do now?"
"What did the staff say?" Jungkook asked warily.
Taehyung slumped down next to me. "They're not even bothering to deal with us now. Only that we're done sightseeing in Texas. We're only allowed to leave for our concerts and that's it."
"What even happened to the whole 'legal action' against that account?" Jin asked Taehyung.
Taehyung shook his head. "They've got some professionals trying to track down the person behind the account. But it's not going anywhere."
"We know that the person is a stalker at least," Jungkook huffed. "They've been watching us since California and now they've struck again with Texas."
"American Paparazzi you think?"
"No," Yoongi shook his head. "They would've posted it on their official page if they wanted to, where everyone can see."
I bit my lip. Kiri was the one behind all this, but the young men didn't know.
"What did you tell the staff when they saw the photo?" Namjoon asked Taehyung.
"I told them it was a fellow ARMY and because I told her I wasn't allowed to take pictures with her, I said I'd walk her to her family instead," Taehyung said. "I think the staff is getting more suspicious. I think they know I'm lying. That we all are."
"What are we supposed to do now?" Jungkook looked at all his older members.
"We need to find a way to get Abby back to her home as soon as possible," Namjoon announced.
"Honestly, I think it'll be easier to find out who is taking the pictures first," Jin cut in. "They're catching Abby and us all at the wrong moments. Abby really hasn't caused too much trouble, other than the few seconds here and there, where the photographer catches her."
"Yes, Jin, because we can definitely find the culprit when professionals can't track the person down," Yoongi snorted.
"Will you stop being so depressed all the time?" Hoseok snapped, uncharacteristically angry. "Honestly, you're really killing my sunshine."
Yoongi, surprisingly, obeyed Hoseok.
"It's Kiri," I said in a soft voice.
I ought... I shouldn't be judge, as my mother once told me. Let God do that, she'd told me. Let Him decide whether a person is evil or not, and let Him punish them.
But I'd gone against so many of my mother's morals and lessons already, what was one more?
"Okay, I know Kiri's been a jerk to you, Abby, but that's no reason to go against her," Namjoon said, a little flustered at my sudden conclusion.
I took a deep breath. "I'm serious. The other day in the store, I'd confronted her and she even confessed to be the one who released the photos of Jin and I." I decided to leave out the whole homeless men assaulting me since the boys would think I was taking it too far. One thing at a time.
