What Have I Missed?

We began to walk back to the lair, it was a bit chilly so I stayed close to Leo. He made me feel warm and comfortable. I looked up at his sapphire eyes.

"What have I missed?"

He looked at me and then looked out onto the distance. I guess he was thinking about what he was going to say.

"Well... I took down a lot of Kraang facilities... uh... Oh! And Raphael got married."

My eyes widened. He got married? To whom? I want to know who could put up with him. Not that he's a bad person or anything, he's just abrasive!

"You look surprised. He married a girl named Mona Lisa. She's a salamander alien."

"That makes more sense."

I blurt out. Leo bursts out laughing, he holds his stomach and leans against a wall to support himself. He wipes a tear away from his blue eye.

"Priceless. But yeah! He's pretty happy with her. They say they'd even like to have a baby in a few years."

"Do you ever want to have a baby?"

He looked over at me, staring intensely at me with his ocean eyes. He did his thinking face, which I've memorized by now, I say each action in my head as he does it. Up. Down. Left. Right.

"To be honest, I don't trust myself with kids. I'd probably mess them up or something. But not taking into the fact that I have no faith in myself, yeah I'd love to. Ever since I went into the past and held baby Miwa, I've always had a deep need for a family of my own. I want to get married and I want to have kids and grow old with someone... I hope this doesn't sound too cheesy, but it's who I am. Master Splinter had a loving relationship with his wife, Tang Shen. And that's my goal at the moment. To get a loving wife."

I nodded. I imagined myself as Mrs. Hamato (Y/n). It sounds cheesy I know, but I just couldn't get the idea out of my head. What if I'm his Tang Shen?

"Do you want kids?"

I sighed.

"If I'm being honest, I have no idea what I want for a family. My life has always been so orientated on survival rather than the future. I didn't even know that I could fall in love like this, let alone think about having a sex life with someone and having a spouse and kids."

He nodded. I looked forward and clasped my hand in his. I held his hand tight. He turned towards me and stopped.

"Look (Y/n), I really like you, hell I told you I love you today. I just want you to know that if for some reason I'm moving to fast or if I'm not enough, or if I screwed up, or if you want to vent about anything to me, I'm always open to listen. I don't want to push anything on you. This is the first time you've been in a relationship and you're obviously confused. I just want you to know that your safety and comfort comes first."

I looked down at the ground. I took a step forward and kissed his cheek tenderly.

"What about you Leo?"

He held me by the waist, his strong hands enveloping me with their warmth again. He pulled me towards him.

"I've waited 17 years for you, and I'd wait another 17 if I had to."

"That's poetic and all but you have needs, just as much as I have needs."

"I know, and I can satisfy them myself if I need to, as long as your comfortable."

"Please tell me your needs! I want to satisfy you Leo!"

He blushed a deep pink and he averted my gaze. I wanted to make sure I met his needs! I want to make sure he's fed and he has a roof over his head and he has everything necessary for survival.
