Rivalry and Cuddles

It's been a few weeks since that date where me and Leo first kissed and confessed. Things have been pretty ok since then. Vivian is healing quite quickly, which was no surprise to me, though Donnie took quite an interest in our quick heal time. He began to experiment on DNA samples, anything from hair to skin. I'm glad he's not all that invasive.

The couch was now stuffed with me, Vivian, the four turtle brothers, April, and the infamous Casey. He annoyed me to no extent. His ego was much too high for his skill and he should learn some humility. He wasn't a bad guy, I just find him annoying. I heard the little jingle of Leo's T-phone. I looked over and he answered the phone. His face lit up as he told whoever was there that he'd love to have them over. He put his phone down.

"Ok guys, Karai and Shinigami are coming over to watch a movie with us."

All of a sudden I felt anger rush through my system. My heart began to race and my palms sweat as they clenched themselves into fists. I furrowed my brow and moved closer to Leo, leaning my head on his shoulder and nuzzling his neck. He looked down and smiled gently, he wrapped his arm around me, giving me the attention I desired. I saw Vivian smirk over at me.

"I didn't know you were a cuddly raven."

I glare over at her as Leo just holds me closer, rubbing my arm lovingly.

"I don't know if she's cuddly or not Vivian, but I like a cuddly little raven."

This time I glare up at him and begin to squawk out how I wasn't cuddly and how I was a warrior of high class. He chuckled and began to rub my shoulder and arm. I yawned and passed out on his shoulder.

I woke up in a giant test tube. I was submerged in water. I couldn't breath, and I began to bang in the glass screaming to be released. I saw Kraang Subprime approach the test tube. He laughed maniacally and began to tap on the glass. I screamed, as the noise hurt my sensitive ears.

He began to bark order at the other Kraang. Then I heard a word. It struck fear into my heart and vey soul. Poison. No! They're going to poison me. I saw a green liquid be injected into the water. I saw it begin to reach my feet as it rose closer and closer to my face. I finally hit my mouth, nose, and ears.

I began to feel every part of my body burn and ache with great intensity. I felt my heart begin to pound against my chest as my lungs felt like they were being ripped apart. I screamed in agony inside of the test tube as I felt the poison begin to destroy my body. It seemed as if my cells were dying one by one, this death was much too slow! It felt as if my body was being torn apart. I felt my eyelids begin to flutter as I lost consciousness.

I screamed and ripped my eyes open quickly, jumping up off of the couch and drawing my sword. I saw Leo look at me concerned. I pointed my sword at him and began to hyperventilate. I looked around. I was in the lair. No test tubes. No Kraang. And no poison. I looked at Leo and sheathed my sword. I took a deep breathe and sat down next to him again.

"My apologies. I had a nightmare."

Donnie nodded and so did Leo. They went back to watching what was on tv. All of a sudden I heard metal against the concrete floor. I looked over my shoulder and I saw little miss serpent.

"Well well well. Looks like the raven girl returned to the lair. Welcome back."

I huffed and little and ignored her comment. I felt my heart race and anger surge through my body. I balled my hands. I decided to show little miss serpent that she wasn't the only girl in Leo's life. I began to nuzzle up to him again. He just smiled softly and wrapped his arm around me again.
