"Wow, this place is really nice," Luke said, looking around, placing his suitcase down. Zoe and Michael had gone to a restaurant and the other two had also gone to get food- so me and Luke were alone. Instantly, I grabbed his hand and dragged him into my room. "Whoa that was quick," he said in surprise. I kissed him deeply and he pushed me against the wall, picking me up, I wrapped my legs around his waist. I knotted my hands in his hair and looked into his eyes. That night was the best either of us had had.
"Please don't go," I said, as I tugged my shirt on- which was actually the one he had given me, the first night we spent together. "Oh, you need this back," I said, tugging the shirt back off. He shook his head, "No, you keep it."
"Are you sure?" I asked, nervously.
He nodded, "Yep, I'm sure." He kissed me again.
On the drive to the airport, 'One Day' by Kodaline came on. 'One day it's here and then it's gone. How are you still holding on? How are you still holding on?'. I really couldn't even deal with the song so I turned it off, my eyes welling again. Like placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed gently, "It's okay. I love you."
"I love you too."
"Can you just turn left here, please? It's a shortcut." he said to me. Now, I was 99% sure that this was not a shortcut, but I went with it anyway. "Are you sure this is a shortcut? Which was next?" I asked him. He scratched his head before saying, "Just up here." I carried on driving and started to get really confused- I knew most of this city, but this place didn't ring any bells. "Can we just stop here a minute?" he asked. I frowned in confusion before nodding. We had stopped outside of a row of really cute, pastel painted houses.
Luke got out of the car and ran over to my side, opening my door. "Luke, where are we going?" I asked. He smirked, "Just come with me." He grabbed my hand and walked me to teh front of a green painted house. Number 26. He pulled a key out and unlocked the door, pulling me in, and shutting it behind us. He pressed me gently against the wall and kissed passionately, "I need to tell you something. I'm not moving back to Australia. I bought this place, so I could stay closer to you. Well, also because London is a main city, and me and the boys thought a place in England would be good- we all have Visas sorted. The only thing is, it's not only me who's living here, it's the rest of the band too. And maybe... one day, we and you could get a house together? It's just a suggestion, I-" I cut him off talking with a kiss.
"I love you. I love you, Luke. I can't believe you did this. You're so perfect." He smiled and modestly shook his head at me. "I'm not perfect. I did this for you, and I'm glad I did. I'd miss you way too much," he said.
"Does Zoe know?" I asked Luke, resting my head on his chest. He nodded, rubbing my back, "Yeahh, Michael told her. But I wanted it to be a surprise for you. It might seem harsh that I said I'm leaving, but at least you're happy now." I nodded at his reply. He was so amazing! "Thank you though, Luke." He smiled and took my hand. "Where are we going?" I asked.
He raised his eyebrows at me, "Can't you guess?" he winked.
"Oh."
His bedroom was actually quite big, considering that the house didn't look THAT big from the outside. He sat down on his bed and pulled me onto his lap so that I was facing him. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and studied my face, which I quickly covered with my hands and whined, "Stop itttt." He pulled my hands away and placed them on his chest. "Why?" he asked.
"I don't like you looking," I replied.
"Oh right. So I'm not allowed to look at my girlfriends face, okay then." He put his hands over his eyes. "Lukee," I said, trying to pull his hands away. "Luke don't.." I whinged. He sighed and said, "You said I couldn't look at you."
"But I like your eyes. I need to see them!" I replied. He giggled as I pulled his hands away and kissed him. He tugged off my shirt and then took his off before kissing me again. "This room needs christening," he said, as he kissed me again.
He lied down on the bed and I crawled on top of him. I leaned down so my chest was against his. I kissed his nose and he wrapped his arms around me, sliding his hands into the back pockets of my skinny jeans. I sighed tiredly. "I'm knackered, Luke." He tickled my bare back as he sung softly. He stopped singing and said, "Me too. Why don't you go to sleep?" he asked.
"Is that okay?" I asked.
He laughed at my reply, "Yes of course it is. Anyway, you'll need to rest up before we go to New York tomorrow night." And he squeezed my tight. I swiftly broke from his grip and sat up, "What?!" He pretended to be asleep and started snoring. I shook his shoulders, "Luke what?! New York?? What?!" I kissed him and he "woke up".
"Yeah I'm taking you to New York."
"You're crazy, Luke. You've just got back off tour-"
"But before that we're going Australia. I want you to meet my family," he said all this so casually. "What?! Will they like me? Oh shit, Luke." I was actually panicking, he'd kind of brought this on all of a sudden. "Luke I don't know if I can do that I'm so nervous. What if they don't like me?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Then that's their problem, not mine."
"Really? So if your mum hates me, you wouldn't leave me?" I asked.
"No, of course I wouldn't! I love you.." He nuzzled into my neck, and strangely, I managed to fall asleep.
