That night, I just lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. I could barely think clearly. I got out of bed, and stared into the mirror. My eyes were blood shot and the remnants of makeup were still around the waterline of my eyes. I rubbed my eyes and sighed.
I opened my door and slumped out, knocking on Zoe and Michael's door. "Zoe? Michael?" I whined. I hadn't spoken in days, and it was kind of strange to hear my voice. Even I could tell that I sounded lost, and juvenile. "Yeah?" Zoe asked, sitting up and quickly turning on the light. I sighed, "Can I stay in your room tonight?" This may have sounded like a weird thing to ask, but I thought it might help, if I was with people. "Ugh, well.." Zoe said. Obviously she wasn't too sure, but she didn't want to say no. "Come on. It wouldn't be that weird, I'm pretty sure we've probably showered together before.. in clothes of course.. Oh, and you might feel something digging into your side, and it may be from Michael... So, I'll leave you both to it, I'll ask Ash and Calum."
I knocked on their door and waited. I heard a groan and a loud thump. Ashton opened the door, his eyes squinted, "Holly. You okay?"
"Yeah. I just.. it feels weird without Luke. Can I.. uhh, can I come in with you guys? It's okay if not, I'll just sleep on the floor or something."
"Sure, come in."
"Sorry," I mumbled.
"Hey, it's okay don't worry. You can have my bed if you want?"
I shook my head, "No, it's okay. I got my pillow the floor is fine."
I woke up at 12pm, the floor was surprisingly comfortable. I went down stairs and looked for something to eat. Nothing appealed to me, so I didn't eat. It had only just dawned on me that I'd actually got out of Luke's room. I didn't know what else to do, so I went back to his room and put headphones in, listening to his iPod. Zoe came in later, "Hey. Do you want to go and see what hospital Luke is in? We should go and see him, it might help you? We got another call- from the same person as last night- and we got told which hospital he's in." I tugged out my headphones and sighed, I wanted to see him, but at the same time- I didn't.
I tugged on and old t-shirt and jeans. I tied up my Converse. "Ready?" I asked everyone. They all looked up, surprised I was there. "Yeah, yeah we are," Calum said, standing up. He sniffed, his eyes welling up. I gave him a long hug. He hugged back, tightly. "Come on then, guys."
