The next day, we were on a plane, making our was to Australia. The flight was pretty uneventful and we both slept for most of the time. I woke up as a stewardess came over and said, "We're landing now, just to let you know." I thanked her and woke Luke up. "Hey, we're landing now." I shook Luke's arm gently. He groaned and his eyes opened. He stretched in his seat and yawned, "You excited?" he asked.

"Mostly nervous. I've been to Australia before -my uncle lives there and I've visited him loads," I said, "But I seriously love it here, it's soo nice." Luke smiled and put his arm around me.

The cab pulled up outside his parents house. "Thank you," Luke said, paying for the taxi. As we got out I said, "Luke, I feel really bad. You're paying for everything and I don't like it."

"Why not?" he asked, looking puzzled.

"I just don't want anyone to think I'm using you! You didn't need to pay for this whole trip, honestly. We could have split the price," I sighed. He shook his head and smiled, kissing my cheek, "I have to do something with my money other than buying clothes and music!"

"Okay. But next time, I'm paying."

Luke's mum, Liz, opened the door. She smiled at us both, pulling Luke into a massive hug. "Luke! I've missed you," she said.

"I've missed you too, mum." Luke turned to me after they'd stopped hugging. He put his arm around me and said, "This is Holly."

"Hi, it's really nice to finally meet you," I said. I didn't know whether to shake her hand, hug her, congratulate her on giving birth to Luke, or to just stand there. "Holly! It's good to meet you too, I have heard a lot about you." She pulled me into a quick hug.

Luke's parents had quizzed me a lot about myself. They asked what courses I took at college, and whether I was going to University and what I wanted to do when I was older. I decided to tell them everything about me. I told them that I wasn't going to rely on Luke for money, that I was going to get myself a stable job, and work hard for it. They both nodded and smiled as I spoke. Afterwards, I asked them a bit about themselves. As we opened the door to leave, Liz said, "Feel free to stay whenever you both want. And, welcome to the family," she smiled. "Now, I'll leave you two to go and unpack your stuff.

As Luke shut the door, he turned to me. "So. What do we think?" he asked. I smiled and nodded, "She's so nice. I think it went well, do you?" I asked.

He widened his eyes and nodded heavily, "Yeah! It went amazing, I think she really likes you- I think they both do!" he pulled me into a hug.

"I've got jet lag," i mumbled into his chest.

"Me too.." he yawned. "Wanna just go sleep and unpack later?" he asked me. I nodded before saying that I thought it was a good idea.
