Seth Defends You During A Break In ~

You and Colby were cuddling as the two of you slept. Aside from the thunder rumbling outside the house was completely quiet. That is until the sound of glass breaking woke you up. Colby remained asleep as you sat up to listen closely. Your stomach flipped as you heard a man groaning and cursing. You immediately shook Colby awake before making an effort to whisper that someone was in the house. Colby's face went blank with anger as he pushed you towards the bathroom. "Hide," he whispered before turning to walk out of the bedroom. You shed a few tears as you refused to let him approach whoever was in the house alone. "Hell no!" You whisper yelled. He shook his head in disapproval but knew that there was no time to argue. He grabbed your arm and kept your body behind his as the two of you crept downstairs. From the  banister you could see a dark figure going through the things you and Colby kept in the living room. You wanted to cry because you couldn't believe this was happening but you sucked it up and followed Colby.  "Damn rich people. They never really have anything good," the theif complained. Colby went to motion for you to stay sitting on the steps but before he could a second figure emerged from the downstairs bathroom and put Colby in a headlock. "No!" You screamed making the other thief turn their head towards you. "We got a hero and a dumb bitch. Looks like a party to me," the man holding Colby told his accomplice. You screamed as the other man came towards you and that scream lit a fire in Colby. He quickly head butted the man holding him in a headlock before pulling the man in his back and suplexing him into the coffee table just a few feet away. The thief groaned in pain as Colby went to the other man and began punching him. An awful crack sounded as Colby broke the man's nose. You quickly ran for the phone and dialed 9-1-1 as Colby began beating the man mercilessly. "Fucking garbage!" Colby yelled as he finally stopped fighting. The two burglars were lying on the floor groaning in pain whilst Colby was sporting split knuckles and a raging attitude. You remained frozen after calling the police. You were in shock that something like this could even happen in real life. You'd only ever seen it in the movies. "Y/N? Babe? Come back to me. It's okay. It's over," Colby cooed at you before bringing you to his chest. You cried silently as you began to feel relief. You were so happy that Colby was alright. "It's okay, babe. I'm alright and you're alright. We still have everything we need and I would never let anyone hurt you. Those pieces of shit didn't take anything important from us," he whispered before kissing your forehead. The night ended when the police showed up and arrested the criminals. It was then that you cuddled into Seth's chest and felt safe again.
