Anxiety had taken over your being as of lately and you were finding it hard to have confidence in your relationship with Colby. He hadn't done anything to make you feel anxious but you were experiencing some irrational thoughts. You were standing in front of the mirror wondering if Colby was satisfied with you. If he still found you beautiful. He could have any woman he wanted and for some reason he chose you. You began looking at your face and then your hair. You would have done further but before you could assess your body the sound of someone clearing their throat interrupted you. You quickly turned your head to see Colby watching you with a disappointed look on his face. You looked down in shame and tried to disguise the blush on your cheeks. "Please tell me that I did not just catch you doing what I think you were doing," he said before walking towards you. You bit your lip and closed your eyes as he wrapped you up in his arms. "Please don't talk about it. I know I shouldn't but I've been having bad thoughts again and I keep waiting for the day your going to wake up and realize that I'm just not good enough. Your going to meet a fan and she'll be younger than me so her body will be perfect. I'm sorry but I can't stop thinking about it," you admitted before allowing hot tears to fall down your cheeks. Colby leaned back before taking your face into his hands, "We'd be here for hours if I told you all the reasons I'm in love with you. But I will say that it hurts me when you doubt what we have. I know you struggle with your anxiety and it makes you think that I don't love you but sweetheart, you are good enough. I love every scar, stretch mark, and any other imperfection you might think you have." You smiled slightly because it was nice to hear that you were loved. "Now come lie with me so I can hold you," he whispered before pecking your lips.
