"Third gift basket" I groaned loudly, reading this stupid little card attached to it. Michael chuckled loudly, gesturing for me to pass it to him. I leaned over to my hospital bed, towards him, handing the basket of treats.

"From Becca, in your Math class. Feel better guys." Michael read aloud to the rest of us. He opened the give basket, not caring where any of the wrappers landed. We've only been in the hospital for four days and Michael still manages to be a pig. I thought Luke was going to be the messiest, as always, but Liz kept him in check.

"Hasn't Becca hated Scar since grade 10?" Luke laughed, leaning over to get a box of cookies that came along with the basket.

Rebecca Anderson has hated for me for god knows how long. It all started in Chemistry when we were forced to be lab partners and I over-did a certain chemical, and to make a long story short, it exploded all over her face, giving her a hideous rash for a few weeks. But hey, if you almost die in a car-crash, everyone suddenly loves you.

"Doesn't matter, she has good taste in snacks." Michael's words with muffled as he tired to speak with his mouth fulled with food. We were thankful for every gift basket sent because it spared us of the horrid 'food' the hospital offers us.

"We got into the newspaper!" Ashton exclaims, along with a sarcastic chuckle. Luke snatches today's paper out of Ashton's hands. It hard for us to huddle around, since we aren't allowed to leave our beds until majority of our wounds have recovered. And it kills me because I want to walk over to whatever room Calum is in and just see if he's okay.

"Local band, 5 Second of Summer, has reportedly been a car crash, earlier this week." Luke reads. I snatch the paper from him.

"The car crashed on route 47 during Sunday's late afternoon thunderstorm." I added, squinting to read the tiny text. Michael then snatched the paper from me.

"Scarlet Foster (17), Luke Hemmings (17), Calum Hood (18), Michael Clifford (18), and Ashton Irwin (19) were all involved in the accident. They attend - blah blah blah." Michael's eyes scanned the rest of the article, mumbling the words. He tossed the paper on the floor, obviously done with it.

"Did they really need to mention our ages?!" Ashton pouts.

Ashton had done boarding school a year or two ago for some odd reason. The boarding system is quite different from ours so a lot of his credits were mixed, causing him to repeat a grade. Not much people knew besides us since Ashton sorta passes off for our age, but it was something Ashton was a bit embarrassed about.

"You guys have a visitor!" the nurse informed us. We all looked at each other, exchanging looks of the utmost confusion.

Majority of our close relatives and even distant ones have come to visit all of us within a four day period. It's weird because we were all meeting family members who we didn't even know.

"Um, who is it?" Michael asked. The nurse looked down at her clipboard.

"Jennifer Wilde. Does that name ring a bell?" she asked. I groaned loudly. Jenni was obviously here for Calum and I would be dammed if she was able to see him before any of us can.

"Send her in" I grit through my teeth, completely annoyed.

The door swung open to see Jenni, standing before us with red puffy eyes. She looked around the room frantically, searching for Calum.

"Mark," she said, gesturing towards Michael, "where's Calum?!"

"My name's Michael." Michael answered, his words trailing off sightly.

"Close enough." She responds. She starts shaking her hands anxiously. We all looked at her, freaking out . "Why isn't he in here." She covered her mouth and gasped. "Is he dead?!"

I could literally hear Ashton's eyes roll as he picked up with the remote to search for a channel. He obviously didn't want to deal with her bullshit.

"Leon!" She shouts , going to Luke's bed.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." Luke mumbles to me, as she came closer. I snickered loudly.

"Do you know any of our names?" I folded my arms in my chest.

"Yours is Samantha, right?" She seemed so confident in her answer. I laugh turning to Michael.

"I don't know, Mark, what is my name?" I joked.

"Leon, I don't know. I think Calum only liked her because she was pretty." Michael kids. "Or was his name Christopher." Michael taps his finger on his chin, 'contemplating'.

"You guys are assholes." She scoffed. I exchanged an even louder scoff back at her. (take that bitch)

She has no right to come here, to our hospital room, a few days after our accident and call us assholes. She couldn't even get our names correctly. Leon for Luke, how the literal fuck did you managed to get that confused.

I winced in pain as I moved my legs to dangle over my bed. I got a hold of my IV and slowly got up.

"Listen here, Jennifer." I began, trying to stand straight. "I don't even know what you are doing here visiting us. Let alone Calum, when you guys aren't even serious."

"We were pretty serious."She argued back folding her arms into her chest.

"Honey," Michael began, we all turned our heads towards him. All except Ashton, because he really didn't give a fuck. "You were just a nice lay." he bluntly says.

I cover my mouth to hold back a laugh. To be completely honest, I wanted to be the one to break the harsh news to her, but Michael doing it is completely find by me.

"Funny you should say that because last time I checked, Scarlet was a good lay as well." She turned to look at me, smirking grimly. I was suddenly boiling in anger and for someone, who has been in nothing but excruciating pain, I've never felt more anger in my life.

"You fucking bitch." I swore. She is completely lucky that I was in pain, because I never almost ran over to someone and punched them so hard in my life.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?!"Luke yells at Jenni.

"I'm Calum's girlfriend" she huffed.

I scoffed, being unable to control any anger I had left.

"IM CALUMS GIRLFRIEND." I shout. I looked at everyone's face, who was a bit taken aback by my choice of words. I cover my mouth in shock, realizing the words I had just said.

Because I wasn't Calum's girlfriend, and I was never really. And maybe I was just a good lay and maybe I wasn't , but I always hope I was much more than that. And I felt like his girlfriend. I felt like we were always much more. And I loved him, I'm in love with him, and he loves me, so what the fuck do you call that. Because I assure you, what we had, wasn't just about the sex.

I could feel my whole body become hot , including my eyes as the started to water. I put my hands over my face, shaking my head. This was all too much, this was overwhelming. What the hell did I do to deserve this?

Jenni didn't say anything back, she was just as confused as anything. The boys just exchanged looks, in a complete loss of words. The door swung open and all our heads were redirected in that direction.

My eyes widened as my mouth was left agape.

With the help of his mom, he was rolled on the wheelchair, feeling utterly confused. I was dumbfounded but happy at the sight of him, considering the last time I saw him he was nearly dead.

"Calum?" Michael finally spoke up. I nearly knocked Jennifer out of the way, just to get a clear view of him.

His mouth opened as he pointed and Jenni.

"Who's she?"
