calum ( i haven't done his pov in a while)
We walked to school for the first time since grade 7. And that's only because the school was near all of our houses. But our high school is roughly a 2 mile walk and I felt that it was too much, and I'm not even walking.
However, Ashton no longer has a car, and Scar has trouble going into one, so here we are, walking to school.
"I still haven't done Mr.Powel's English assignment." Luke says, causing all of us to gasp. Scarlet put her hand on her chest for added dramatic effect.
"Luke?! Not doing homework?!" Michael gasps dramatically a few times, making us all laugh as Luke rolled his eyes.
"I've been a bit preoccupied." Luke defended. We all have, but I still managed to do majority of my school work, with Scarlet's help of course. She made it her personal duty to come over my house and help me so I don't fall behind, but it always resulted into us making out for about half an hour. She's an eager one.
Scarlet laughed into my neck as she comfortably adjusted her body onto my lap. I've noticed she's been doing that lately, but simply told me it was because she loved feeling close to me, and not walking of course.
"I'm actually not looking forward to going to school." Ashton complained. "I liked the break we had."
I agree, we haven't been in school in roughly two months and it seems weird going back especially consideringwhat happened.
"Everyone's going to ask us about the accident and blah blah blah." Scarlet groaned, holding onto my neck, and placing her head on my chest, shutting her eyes. I let out a grin at the sight her curled up a bit as I wheeled her to school. She seemed so peaceful and that makes me so undoubtedly happy.
"Just stare them coldly in the eyes and say 'well bitch i made it, that's all you need to know'" Michael chuckles, kicking around a rock as he walked. Michael thought it would add to his fiery personality so he had dyed his hair red as the ultimate comeback.
"Tell people that the color of your hair represent the blood you shed." Ashton jokes, nudging Michael a bit. We all burst into fits of laughter as we inched closer to our school. I could hear the sounds of children talking, and the awful smell of the tire's skimming the ground.
"Maybe Luke can use that scar he got to finally get laid." I said. Luke pushed my wheelchair, telling me to fuck off.
"I just been off my game lately. I'll get back out there soon." Luke mentions, trying to feel better about himself.
"Mhmm, whatever you say." Michael snickers, tugging on his bag.
We continued to walk for what seemed like forever until reaching the school. It felt as if all the chatter from various conversations died down at just the sight of us. Everyone's eyes were glued to us, a group that not much really cared about. Sure we weren't complete and utter outcasts, but we kept mostly to ourselves. Well all of them besides me.
Scarlet got up from my lap, brushing herself off and clearing her throat. She took her hair out of her ponytail, allowing it to fall perfectly on past her shoulders, parts of it covering the side of her face. She shook her head, allowing her hair to have a perfect shape.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." She smirks, going behind me and pushing my wheelchair. The sound of whispers arose as we walked away to our lockers.
"Wow Scar." Michael comments, turning his lock, "Pretty bad ass of you."
She smiled to herself, stuffing her books into her bag. "Well I try."
