"I think I like him."
"What?" Jin said turning his head to stare at Namjoon along with everyone else who was confused. "Like who?"
"Jeongguk."
The oldest glanced to see how everyone else seemed to recognize that name and he could only come to think that it was someone at school. He had graduated last year and realized it was extremely lonely not being able to see his boyfriends every day but he'd live with the fact that at least they could all hang out on the weekends.
"You barely know him." Yoongi said as he looked at the younger who seemed to be avoiding everyones gaze. "And he hates all of us."
"What'd you guys do for him to hate you?"
"Nothing. He just looks so scared of us." Namjoon said as he looked around the room his face scrunched up. "I don't even know why, I've never seen someone scared of protagonists before it's always idolizing them or secret looks of pity. But he seems so genuinely scared but then there's times when he's happy and talks to us like normal? But now he's angry and glares at us whenever we try to talk to him and I don't understand what we did wrong."
"That's weird," Jin mumbled knowing he had never really seen someone act to protagonists like that before. He immediately thought back to the boy he and had seen at the store about a week ago how his hair seemed to be turning blue. He had tried to convince himself his mind was playing tricks on him but was it really? "Really weird."
"I mean he's cute but do you really like him?" Jimin said shocking everyone else. He always took the role of being cute thanks to his pink hair and never referred to anyone else as cute since it was his term. "We don't know anything about him."
"He hangs out with two freshmen at lunch, and they're the only friends he seems to have. I think their names are Bambam and Yugyeom? I'm not quite sure since I don't really know anyone in the freshman class."
"You're stalking him." Yoongi said scrunching up his face as he stared at Namjoon. "Maybe he hates us all since Joon is stalking him?"
"I'm not stalking him! I just noticed since we can see him for where we sit at lunch."
"We can see him from where we sit at lunch?" Taehyung said as he tilted his head confused with what Namjoon had said. "Why didn't you tell us?"
"Did you want to be able to see him?"
Taehyung blushed as he looked down avoiding everyone else's gazes. It was awkward talking about liking someone else, especially when you already had five boyfriends. He was able to accept that he loved them all, especially since they were protagonists as well, and he'd much rather have other people understand his problems than simply ignore them.
But Jeongguk was just a normal person and he couldn't imagine how he felt with protagonists seeming to worry about him.
"I don't want him to avoid us." Hoseok muttered making the attention go towards him. "He just seems really nice and with what happened at the cafe it seems like he gets taken advantage of for being kind a lot. He's only sixteen and I just don't want him to feel scared or sad anymore but I don't know how to do that since he seems terrified whenever he remembers that we're protagonists."
They all seemed to nod in agreement while Jin only observed his boyfriends. He wasn't offended by the fact they all seemed interested in this boy only intrigued by how one average person could have that impact on them.
