Jeongguk wouldn't admit it but without having a nap at lunch earlier he probably would have already fallen asleep by now. He had been having a better day since then and was glad that his friends seemed to care about his health way more than he did.

Of course he still was currently stuck at work but he could not complain about that. He had decided he was not going to quit and nobody was going to change his mind on that. It was slightly more enjoyable now than when he had first started as he had gotten to know all of the other workers. They still tended to throw a lot of work on him since he was the youngest but Jeongguk knew they did that jokingly.

"It'll help you build character!" Minho said as he slung his arm around the younger. "Just imagine how charismatic you'll be after taking out the trash."

"You can just walk yourself out, hyung."

"Hey, respect your elders!" He replied as he smacked Jeongguk's head causing the younger to giggle at his antics. Jeongguk was actually very surprised that he was able to get along with the people at his work it just took a while to get to know them. "I could get you fired if you keep talking like that."

"There's no way you would do that, Minho hyung. If you fired me there'd be no one you could shove your work onto!"

"Ouch, that comment has injured me so!" Minho said as he pretended to collapse onto a chair holding a hand over his heart. "Good thing it's my break right now so I can cope with this injury I just got."

Jeongguk simply rolled his eyes in response as he got up grabbing the trash. He really enjoyed being able to joke with people older than him as he never had been able to do that before. Although taking out the trash wasn't really a task he was super happy to have pushed onto him he was able to deal with it, he had been through way worse.

Grunting he grabbed onto the bag and went out into the alley throwing it into the garbage can. He never really considered himself super strong but he did want to get into working out, he just never had the free time. Working, studying, and sleeping, he felt as if that was all he did sometimes. He definitely was getting better at remembering to eat now too but he would often forget about that with his busy schedule.

"Hey, it's you!"

Jeongguk turned around confused at who had yelled at him but tensed once seeing it was the rude customer from the other day.

"I'm sorry sir, are you lost? The entrance to the cafe is the other way, there's literately nothing at the end of this alley." Jeongguk said tilting his head as he noticed the beer in the man's hand. He couldn't help but slightly back away to the door already remembering how this man had thrown coffee on him last time. "I can help you get back to the sidewalk if you want?"

Before anything else could be said the main hurled the glass drink at Jeongguk and the boy quickly covered his face letting the glass smack into his arms. He grimaced as he let his hands fall looking at his wrists to see a drop of blood fall onto the concrete. He was in pain but couldn't help but start to grow upset with this situation.
