It was the next day.

Betty, Karla, Brandon and Archie started with their plan to give Jughead a surprise party.

Betty kept Jughead busy all day, while Brandon,Archie and Karla decorated the place.

"Hey guys, I'm heading out, my dad needs me for some stuff and I have to get ready."Karla said as she grabbed her purse and jacket

The Andrews' boy nodded."Don't worry about it, just remember to be here."Archie said with a stern playful look, which made Karla giggled

"Don't worry, I wouldn't miss it for the world."She smiled

Brandon looked at them and smirked."Ok then, we'll see you later."Brandon said as he walked Karla to the door.

"Bye."

Brandon closed the door and looked up at Archie who was hanging a birthday sign.

Suddenly Brandon's phone ringed and he looked at the contact name.

"Arch, it's dad."Brandon informed him

"Answer."He said as he jumped down

Brandon answered it and put it on speaker

"Hey, Dad, what's up?"Brandon asked

"We miss you."Archie said from behind

"Hey, guys, I miss you too, I'm just checking in.I felt bad we didn't get the chance to talk more before I left."Fred said

"Yeah, well, you kinda of shut us down, Dad."Archie said

Brandon nodded.Fred sighed.

"You seen mom yet?"Brandon asked."No.We were gonna have dinner, but..."

"But what?"Archie asked as he got closer to the phone.

"We decided it would be better to meet tomorrow morning, with the lawyers."Fred explained

"Right.'Cause things are so bad, you can't talk with a mediator."Brandon said sarcastically

"Look, Dad, we gotta go,Bye."Brandon said as he hung up the phone.

"You're hurt aren't you?"Archie asked his brother."Of course!aren't you?"Brandon asked

"Yea I'm sad, I never wanted this to happen, I wanted our family to be together and happy....guess that never happened."Archie said

Brandon looked down and then he looked up at Archie."You know what?Fuck this."

He walked up to his fathers alcohol cabinet.Archie followed behind.

"You wanna forget this for at least a day?"Brandon asked his little brother, in which he nodded."Then let's get wasted."

Brandon handed him one of the bottles and Archie opened it.
