I opened my eyes to a spinning hallway. After a few minutes the dizziness faded. Once I had regained my balance, I stood up, and looked for Agatha. I saw her standing in the threshold of the classroom smiling. She reminded me that I was late for lunch, and I walked slowly towards the cafeteria, glancing back at the old lady.

"What was that all about?" I thought.

I didn't even know if what I had witnessed was real or not. When I entered the cafeteria, I spotted Beatrice in the far corner of the room. When I sat down I was bombarded with a thousand questions.

"What took you so long?"

"Did you get in trouble?

"Are you okay?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Do you feel sick?"

I breathed in slowly, and exhaled. I never kept secrets from Beatrice. She was my best friend. Maybe this is an exception. She might not understand.

"I was talking to her about the exam. I didn't get into trouble for anything, and I'm okay. I'm having a bit of a headache, that's all."

"Well, I hope you get better," Beatrice said.

After lunch I continued on with my day like nothing had happened. Nothing strange occurred in the days that followed, so I'm guessing that I must have gotten sick, and sat in the hallway to ease the pain,or something. I still wonder if I had imagined it all because no logical explanation seemed to fit in with what had happened.

It was Monday, the day of our exam, and I didn't get the chance to study at all. I spent the weekend thinking about Agatha and Juliet. How did they know each other? We're they enemies? Did they work together? I really didn't know.

Luck must have been on my side that day because the exam got postponed until next week. If I didn't get an "A" on my next exam, I would most likely have to repeat my grade again, and that would mean another year of Agatha. I did NOT want that to happen!

We ended up reading our books for the entire class, which I quite enjoyed. I love to read. When I walked home, I went straight into the sitting room to finish my book that I was reading earlier that day. I had just made it to the last chapter when there was a knock on the door.

"Maya," my mother said, "Your history teacher, Agatha, has come to pick you up for a field trip!" she explained.

"Field trip? What field trip?"
