"They'll be here any minute, so we need to pack up and get out of here fast," Juliet said grabbing a random suitcase out of the closet and shoving things into it.

Out of all the things I could have been doing, I chose to stand there, looking dumbfounded.

Why? Why me?

"The're not coming here unarmed. They're bringing pitch forks and torches for goodness sake. You should probably get packing."

That's what brought me back into reality. Fire.

Fire has hurt me before, so it wouldn't be very surprising if it hurt me again. It might even kill me. I haven't thought of that once while I was on this mission. I could possibly die.

What if we don't escape the angry mob? Death.

What happens if we forget something that we need for the spell? Death.

What if we can't cast the Revoking Spell in enough time? Death.

The answers were right in front of me all along. If I fail this mission, all that will happen is death. Death is a mysterious thing. What happens once you die? How long is it until you reach heaven or hell? Only God knows.

That's why I have to try. I have to try to get everything we need. I have to try to do the spell correctly. I have to try to complete my mission. I have to try not to die. I have to live.

Since most of my luggage hasn't been touched since I got to Juliet's house, I didn't have to pack up that much.

I decided to help Juliet as much as I could, so I got out another bag and started stuffing food, important documents, and other things like that into it. Once I latched the bag closed, I could hear the stomping of feet coming closer, closer, and closer.

"I think that's everything, get those bags and go!" shouted Juliet over the screaming and chaos right outside of the front door.

I grabbed my bags and sprinted towards the back door. We slipped out of the house, and ran towards the woods nearby. All we did was run deeper and deeper into the woods. My arms were getting tired, and my legs felt like they were going to break down any minute now. But I had to push myself, and go faster. This is my mission.

Once we reached a clearing in the forest, Juliet fell to her knees with a thump, dropping all of the bags. I dropped my luggage, and went to go help her up. We sat up against a tree trunk to catch our breaths and slow down our heart rates.

Our eyes fell on the house, which was now a little red dot. They set the house on fire. What were they mad about? They were so loud that we could still hear the shouts and sounds of glass breaking from within the dense, green forest.

We were lucky enough to make it out of there alive.

There was just one question that I was dying to ask.

What do we do now?
