The next day I woke up with a smile on my face. Damian was gone, Juliet's wedding was cancelled, and we officially have Agatha free lives ahead of us. That is if the plan works, which I hope it will.

When I looked in Juliet's bedroom, she wasn't there. I walked into the dining room and found a note on the table. It read:

Dear Maya,

I hope that you haven't gone out looking for me because I wasn't in the house this morning. I am just in town running a few errands and grabbing some food from the grocery outlet nearby. There should be enough food in the kitchen to make you a simple meal for breakfast. I'll be back soon!

Love,

Great-Grammie

I was glad that she was out doing errands, because I wanted to surprise her with a clean house, and a nice, manicured, lawn. It was the least I could do since I was staying in her home. I took out a small plate, two slices of bread, a jar of grape jelly, and a butter knife to make some toast for breakfast. I wasn't really that hungry, so I ate one slice of toast, and cleaned the dirty dishes in the sink. The next thing I did was grab the feather duster and dust around the house. Then, I found a broom and swept all of the hard wood floors. The inside of the house was spotless. Now it was time to do some yard work.

I grabbed all of the supplies that I would need from the shed, and got to work on watering all of her plants and flowers. I pulled out all of the weeds that were in the garden, and I was done with my task.

I put everything back up, and walked to the mailbox to see if there was any mail for Juliet. I was turning towards the front porch when I heard two familiar voices close by. I quickly got into the house and closed the door. I sat the letters on the coffee table in the living room, and peeked out of the window cautiously.

Damian was walking and talking with...Agatha? What would she want to talk about with him? I thought that she hated him! Damian stepped into her house and Agatha looked to make sure that no one was watching before closing her door. How weird.

I, being the naturally nosy person that I am, decided to spy on them. I had to know what they were up to. I put on some clothes so that I wouldn't look crazy wearing pajamas in the daytime, and then walked across the street to Agatha's house. I darted towards the back of her house, and climbed over the old wooden fence into her backyard. I tiptoed to the nearest window, and sat under it, so that I couldn't be seen from the inside. I listened to their voices as they came closer and closer to the room I was near. I heard the shuffling of their feet, and the sound of them sitting down.

"So, why do you need my help Mr. Simmons?" Agatha asked.

"I know how much you hate me for all of the things that I've done, so I want to make it up to you," Damian said.

"Go on."

"Well, Juliet, you see, has called off our wedding because she discovered that I was using her," he explained, "I know how angry you are at her, so I thought that you would want to help me get revenge."

"So you want me to help you get back at Juliet for calling off your wedding? You are very stupid if you think that I'm going to do this without getting my fair share!" Agatha laughed.

"I know. That's what I'm just about to explain. If you want to help me, then I'll make you be powerful," he said.

"Oh, and how are you going to do that?" she questioned.

"By using my magical powers," he said.

"Is-is that fire in your hands?" Agatha stuttered.

"Yes. But it is not a regular fire because it doesn't burn me. I am a wizard, who is capable of doing any and everything. Juliet's 'cousin',Maya, has come from the future to warn her of a spell that you put on her in the future. The girl said that it would curse her and all of her ancestors if she didn't cancel the wedding," Damian said.

So he heard us talking that night, and we didn't even know it.

"That is why I need your help, Agatha. If you were going to do a spell from one of your spell books, then it wouldn't work because we're not getting married. If I give you the ability to be a witch, then you can put a stronger and more effective curse on her," he finished.

"That is... great!" Agatha exclaimed. "I'm in! When do I get my powers?"

"Very soon my darling," says Damian.

Oh no. We're toast.

"Hey! Did you just hear that?" Agatha asked.

"Yeah, I think so. It sounded like someone was outside of that window."

I said that out loud, didn't I?

"Yes you did," Agatha said with her head hung out of the window.

I really need to stop thinking out loud.
