It all happened in slow motion.

The hunter popping out from the blueberry bush, and then Juliet picking up a large walking stick.

She slung the stick with perfect aim, hitting the man in the forehead. Gravity pulled him towards the damp Earth that lay under his body.

"That should knock him out for a couple of minutes," Juliet told me, quickly packing up the items that were set up for the spell.

"Whoa."

"I may be clumsy when it comes to being sneaky, but I never said that I didn't have good aim," she told me with a small smile.

I laughed and grabbed my bags.

Within seconds a whole crowd of hunters had gathered in a semi-circle with their firearms propped up against their shoulders.

"Don't move or we'll shoot!" said one of the men.

Man! We're trapped! I wish that I could somehow remove the bullets from their guns, to give us just enough time to escape.

I don't know why, but I closed my eyes and imagined the bullets hovering in the air for mere seconds before dropping to the ground.

My eyelids opened to the unbelievable.

Thumb sized bullets were floating out of the barrels of the revolvers. They floated in midair for a few seconds, and then fell to the ground.

"How did I do that?" I asked to no one in particular.

"I have no logical explanation," Juliet said.

"Just run!" the voice commanded.

It didn't have to tell me twice.

We ran in the opposite direction of the hunters, letting our feet guide us through the woods. I don't know how, but we ended up near the time machine.

"Lets go in the time machine!" I yelled a bit too loud.

We got inside of the contraption and slammed the door behind us.

We buckled up and discussed what we should do next.

"There's no way that we can view the eclipse here," Juliet said.

"I know..." I replied.

I studied the control panel of the machine. I understood what some of the buttons stood for, but I had not a clue about what the other ones meant.

There was a beating sound that was surrounding us. It was the pounding of several fists.

"If you don't make up your mind soon, those hunters will surely break the time machine!" warned the voice.

I pressed any button that I could lay my hands on, and away we went.

I pulled the door open, and saw rolling hills for miles and miles. A valley probably wouldn't be the best place to view the eclipse.

I pressed another button. We could hear loud music from outside of the machine.

I opened the door to reveal a large crowd of energetic people who were dancing and singing to five guys on stage.

I stepped out and looked around at the futuristic concert that the time machine had sent us to. There were bright, colorful lights that lit up the dark room. There was a huge electric screen that stood behind the singers with had the words "The WANTED" written on them.

I listened to a few of their songs, and fell in love with their music.

This 'The Wanted' music group could sing!!

That's when I noticed that I had lost Juliet in the crowd. I tried to crane my neck above the people's heads to see if she was anywhere in sight. Once I had caught a glimpse of her floral dress that she was wearing, I waded through the mass of people.

Once I had reached her, I tried to tell her that these people were amazing.

"What?" she yelled back, "I can't hear you over the music!"

"I said-"

"We want to thank you all for coming to watch us perform!" yelled the curly haired guy on stage.

"Yes, but before you leave, we want to play one last song for you!" said the tall one with an Irish accent. "Everyone should know this one... it's Glad You Came!"

Before I could finish my sentence, confetti was falling from the air, and those colorful lights from before got even brighter, if possible. The crowd cheered even louder for 'The Wanted'.

They were throwing out T-shirts to their fans while belting out the lyrics of their song, Glad You Came, and one actually got thrown to me! Some of the girls that I were standing beside glared at me before going back to screaming the names of the singers on stage.

"Come on. We have to get back to the time machine!" Juliet yelled loud enough that I could hear her.

I nodded in response before slipping on my T-shirt. She dragged me through the crowd towards the time machine, and we quickly got in. I couldn't believe it.

I, Maya Fergison, just went to my first concert.... one that took place in the future!

"That was..." Juliet began.

"Amazing," I finished for her.

"I hate to intrude your conversation, but you might want to press the green button to be transported to a place where you can actually see the eclipse," the voice informed us.

I followed her suggestion, and the time machine shook to life. This time when it had stopped, Juliet and I took all of our luggage outside with us.

We were in the middle of a grassy field. This would be a great place to cast the Revoking Spell. It was a wide and open space with surrounding pine trees. There was one obscure thing that was in the field, though.

A tombstone.

I shivered as I walked closer to the gravestone. I sat down my bags, and wiped the dust off of the limestone with my bare hands.

My heart stopped.

It read: Here lies Maya Fergison.
