After the play, Diana, Tillie, Ruby, Jane, Moody, Gilbert and Josie all stood in a circle. They all jumped up and down in excitement. They were proud of themselves, of how brilliantly they performed with only a weeks notice.

Anne wanted... needed to talk to Gilbert. There was a perfect opportunity, but then she got distracted when she saw Cole and Aunt Josephine come backstage. Everyone ran toward Cole with open arms, having missed the boy every day that he was gone.

Anne made her way to Aunt Josephine.

"You did amazing child. You really do have a knack for acting!" She took the compliment sincerely and planted a huge kiss on her cheek.

She then ran toward Cole, who picked her up and swirled her around in a circle.

"I have missed you terribly Anne!"

"As I have you.. how is living in Charletown?" She was ever so curious, and he was more then happy to tell all.

"It's amazing. So many opportunities lie there. I started a little pop up place in the centre of town, where I ask people to pay for me to draw a sketch of them. It's a great way to earn money!"

"That's brilliant!!" Everyone chimed in.

"It is... and... I have found someone... like me.. he is amazing. So kind and gentle. I mean we have only been on a few dates, but I can already tell we would be amazing together."

"I'm so happy for you Cole, you deserve someone who will love you for you." Jane said.

Anne then began to trail off. She wanted to talk to her soon to be significant other, and everyone picked up on it.

"Go to him." Diana smirked happily.

"We will catch up later Anne. Go!" Cole finished.

She jumped out of her daydream, and smiled apologetically at her friends, and ran for the door, before she was stopped by Mathew and Marilla.

"Anne!" Marilla scoped the child up and gave her the biggest hug. She was taken back by the sudden show in affection, but accepted.

"You did amazingly my girl!" Mathew then joined in on the hug, and gave Anne a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you both so much, I am extremely pleased that you enjoyed it and am internally grateful to you both for helping me audition for the role in the first place!"

They smiled. They felt so full of proud, the feeling consuming the two completely. You couldn't hide from it. And at that very moment, Marilla let down her walls, and truely showed what it was that she loved about Anne. It made Anne that much more excstatic.

As headed for the door, Jerry had popped around the corner.

"Jerry!" Anne was startled. "I didn't realise you had come, how did you enjoy the play?"

"It was very good Anne, I'm proud of you... and I guess you finally had your first kiss hey.." Jerry couldn't help but laugh, as Anne did too. She did want to go see him though, so she hugged Jerry, and ran out the door.

She ran after Gilbert, who was walking off with Sebastian, who had one arm around Gilbert's muscular and broad shoulders.
